And this is in no way a dig at Trafs, who was otherwise excellent in the air tonight with his catches.
But Muric would have claimed that, the Luton forwards wouldn't have got a look in.

Sorry, but there it is.

He’d have done the exact same thing

The same Muric that was like a dog chasing a balloon on numerous occasions last season? We conceded 5 at Sheff united because they targeted Muric. Some people have very short memories.

Would Muric have made that save in the first half?

Nope, wrong.
To me, that particular incident was all about body strength, which Muric has in spades, but JT doesn't.
Like i say, not having a go at Trafs, who otherwise had a good game. But this one incident would have gone the other way with Muric.

Have you seen the size of Adebayo?

I doubt Muric would have dived onto the floor in front of an attacker, probably caught it easily.

You think Muric would in someway have magically passed through the brick outhouse that is Adebayo ?

Thought Trafford played well, but he was bullied for that goal. It reminded me of Trossards goal against us at Arsenal

Yeah.
He's roughly matched with Muric, I'd say.
But Muric can use his arms, which he would have done.
QED

He couldn't get near enough to use his arms because Adebayo did an NFL-level block on him aka obstruction in football language.

Irrespective of that incident, we'd have been better in possession and dominated the game more with Muric between the sticks. So painfully obvious.

Muric is our best all round goalkeeper, not by a tiny margin by an absolute country mile but our board see Trafford as the gravy train.

Think Trafford will become a good player ...but he was not a first choice Premier league goalkeeper this season

Agree with the manager Muric needed to be ugraded but not this goalkeeper for £19m

If it doesn’t go in it’s given as a foul. Same sh*t different week.

I thnik perhaps the argument is that if Muric played NFL, he would score a TD every time because no-one is big enough to block him.
