We can leave Taylor out of any teams selections for Fulham, and for the foreseeable for that matter.

Purely based on effort level last night I would go:

Trafford
Roberts, Al Dakhil, O’Shea, Vitinho
Brownhill, Berge, Ramsey
Fofana, Foster, Odobert

It is absolutely time for Amdouni to come out, and has been for ages. If we’d stopped the 442 earlier I feel certain we’d have picked up far more points:

———————————————-Trafford
NEW RB———-Ekdal/DO’S——————Esteve—————-Al-Dakhil/Taylor
————————————————Cullen
——————————-Berge——————-Brownhill

James Trafford and 10 others...the haters really need to let this young kid get on with his job ...he will develop into one of the best keepers this country has ever produced...Muric dosent come close to this kid.

How long off are Beyer and Taylor?

Amdouni needs resting / dropping, he's had enough chances for me

Not sure what Muric has to do to earn a go in the side, but I guess VK is going to die on that hill

Trafford
Meunier O'Shea Delcroix Oosterwolde
Gueye Berge
Tresor Ramsey Odobert
Foster

Even though Odobert was really bad vs City he gets another shot.

Same as last night’s lot I suppose just get them to play better.

Just remember we usually beat Fulham at home and very rarely lose to them.

Another 5-0 win will do nicely.

Having read through the "he is/he isn't" on the transfer threads I'm no closer to knowing if we're getting a RB, or anyone else for that matter!

Trafford
Roberts - O'Shea - Ekdal - Esteve
Brownhill - Cullen
Fofana - Berge - Odobert or Zaroury
Foster

Ideally we need a new RB and LB, but gone with what we will likely have available.

The main reason we're where we are I'm afraid, but as the saying goes, wouldn't do for us all to be the same, could be anybody for me not just muric, as long as it's not this one.

We need to win some games and play our game, lets get on the front foot with the big man between the sticks.

From what I've researched and read, esteve is a centre back, not a left back, we've had enough players playing out of position, let's not do it with this one. Hopefully Taylor makes it, but if not Al dakhill did an OK job considering. But I'm hoping esteve will add some steel to the centre.

Prefer muric, and looks like assingon is here so in at right back, but I'd go with this otherwise.

You're perfectly entitled to your opinion as to the relative merits of Trafford and Muric but to say that Trafford is "the main reason we are where we are" is just blatantly incorrect.

I respect your opinion but if Ederson was to keep goal for us for the rest of the season it still wouldn't make a jot of difference to our performances the constant pushing on this message for Muric to play isn't going to happen..move on.

Don't know anything about Assignons status but having watched Esteve v Montpellier on Sunday would put him straight in for Ekdal.

We need an upgrade on Vitinho though.

Of course it would - he's possibly the best/joint best keeper in World Football.

...............Trafford

Vitinho - O'Shea - Delcroix - Al-Dakhil

JBG - Brownhill - Berge - Odobert

...............Jay - Foster

Gone with the squad as it is confirmed right now. Delcroix did well with O'Shea against Spurs. Al-Dakhil only option for left back really. For me, our best spell this season came when Jay was in the side. I'd like to see how he might compliment Foster up front.

His handling last night in the first 10 mins was dreadful, and unlike Muric who passes the ball out with his feet Trafford waits until he’s closed down and 75 % of the time kicks it to the opposition.and like to see the stats last night for his pass completion.

Trafford give the ball away 4 out of 5 time every time he kicks into the opposition half ,and that’s surely not good enough

Not a witch hunt VK’s into stats so how can he justify playing a guy when the system we play requires a keeper than can do more than just shot stopping,oh and I’m not your pal,pal

It's more than using bits of stats like this tbf

I've banged on about this far too much on here to me it boils down to:

- If we want to be a team that plays out and moves the ball on the deck with pace on the front foot, then Muric is your man

- If you want a more 'traditional' shot stopping keeper with ok distribution, then Traff is your man

To me, I think our ball progression is notably better with Muric - and it's not just about %s in accuracy, it's the vision/speed/trajectory of passing.

You can have ridiculously high short passing % metrics if you're just rolling it out to a centre half or full-back. Stats like that don't paint a full picture.

To me, all I care about is playing who gives us the best chance of winning a game - not necessarily who's the best or who will be the best in 3/5/10 years, or who will most ROI on.

It's all about assembling the best individuals for the team, not necessarily the best individuals.

Probably doesn't help that our outfield are dreadful at winning headers and generally very weak challenging for the ball.

Probably doesn't help that our outfield are dreadful at winning headers and generally very weak challenging for the ball.
Possibly ,but we didn’t have much problem last season ,and Foster was playing up front in some of the games .

Exactly...but he thinks Trsfford is our only problem, he thinks Muric will keep us up if he gets a run 😂
If I’m the ‘he’ your talking about then he didn’t say that Muric was the answer, however James Trafford may be the best goalkeeper in the World in 5 years ,but this season we need a guy who is good now.
