I sincerely hope it’s not the last we have seen of him in a Burnley shirt.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't still one outgoing to be announced. Real sadness to this one though, as there would have been with Benson. These were the two who got us off our seats last season so often, along with Tella of course.

Disappointed that he’s not had more chances this season. Hopefully he comes back to us wherever we end up next season .

Silly this.

Every single player in our squad that has played has had a game like that this season.

If Amdouni bagged that chance at Spurs away that Zaroury set him up with it's on highlight reels for a week straight.

Yeh because he really stood out as being the only poor performer that day.

I know the team clearly isn’t good enough for the premier league but both Benson and Zaroury should have been played. Fair enough Benson has been injured but I personally blame Kompany as he signed to many wingers and no full backs. I don’t understand the signing of another centre back it’s like he has an obsession of centre backs and wingers. Yet both Taylor and Roberts should have been upgraded last summer and maybe Zaroury and Benson wouldn’t have looked as poor.

If that was the case then there are a lot of players at our club who should be nowhere near the first team. It's the only league start he's had all season.

Struggling to understand his thinking as well at times. Can't see why Tresor and Larsen have been ahead of him in the pecking order

Is it a straight loan? No options to buy?

Needs to be playing to get his mojo back and gain more experience in this country . I’d be delighted if he came back and gave VK a major headache , he’s got lots of ability after all

I understand why he’s been loaned out but damn, hurts to see him holding a Hull shirt. My favourite player from last season.

Shame and hope he comes back but his form after the World Cup was iffy at best, apart from his 2 FA Cup goals at B’mouth.
If this loan gets him back to the form of pre-World Cup I’d be delighted.

We never give any clues on that with any deal, to the extent that we took Obafemi on loan last January and never announced that we'd signed him permanently.

What is the thinking here anyone know? Are we looking to move him on on?

I really hope not.

I guess VK hasn’t been impressed with him this season, but he’s such a good footballer and offers something a bit different…

He played last night, but leaves
Benson wasn't even on the bench, but stays

It's a bit of a head scratcher

Hell of a head scratcher that VK opted to use two players last night who he knew would be leaving today

I don't see the point in using two players like that when the management knew they were going out of the door a day later. Just don't get it.

Shane wish we’d seen more if him. Can’t understand Vk’s decisions this season either. I’d prefer to see Zaroury over Tresor.

Good luck to the lad but i have to say some of the transfers is mind boggling that how you give player's new contracts and freeze them out of the squad, I'm now starting to wonder who is making these decisions...

Bournemouth I view as a rogue fixture (despite us nearly drawing it) given what had just happened to Foster, we didn’t know much but I bet the players were rattled at that time. So I don’t think we should dig too deep into performances that day.

Have to say, I am very sad to hear this news. Brilliant last season, not given much of a chance this season but with his recent minutes, I thought he might be working his way back into the fold. Out of last seasons squad Zaroury looked the most ready and capable to step up.

Gutting really. The fans really took to him along with Benson and Tella and weve basically not seen any of them this season. Just bizarre. Zaroury was the one i thought could go right to the top of the game

Thought he was the real deal but tbh never quite the same player since the World Cup. Deserves to have regular game time and it’s a great opportunity to get back on track.

Quite of a few rumours regarding him and Benson. The one I heard yesterday were Zaroury and Benson had a bust up. Bulls**t like the rest of them I would say

It’s a shame that he hasn’t kicked on like we thought he would. Although I don’t think his form fell off a cliff after the World Cup to the same extent some on here have said, I also don’t think he ever quite hit the same heights in the second half of the season.

It’ll be interesting to see if his tears up the Championship under a manager with a similar philosophy to VK. He’s still young and could become the top player we thought he might be.

He's been underperforming for some months now. Could be the PL was a step too soon for him. He does have the qualities to play there someday but needs to grow physically to be able to cope with the high tempo.

With Odobert Ramsey Tresor Amdouni and Koleosho we have players that are more equipped. Even Bruun Larsen and JBG are just more physical than him, probably why they get chosen ahead of him.

Playing every game would do him well. Hopefully he'll come back with a vengeance.

Too much of a squad turnover for any sort of positive squad cohesion . The players sent out on loan could possibly be the disruptive figures in the dressing room and vk has had enough. Either way it’s a shambles of a season

He was the one I thought could adapt the best to the Prem but hasn't been the case. Yes, he hasn't had much opportunity but there must be a reason for that. Hope it isn't the last we see of him in a Burnley shirt, as he is such an exciting player to watch when he's on it. Will be interesting to see if he rips the Championship up again at Hull.

Strongly disagree with this. He had a long spell where he wasn’t offering a huge amount. Not uncommon for wingers though.

Originally disappointed he’s gone out on loan but putting the sensible hat back on its the right thing to do. He needs game time and that means there’s a chance he could come back as the player we know and saw at times getting us off our seats. He’s gone to a club with a good young Manager who hopefully will get him playing in a very good system. Fingers crossed he gets picked every week and stays injury free.

Me neither, one of the most entertaining and unplayable I've seen in a Burnley shirt, he's downturn in form must have something to do with vk, a player doesn't just lose it, like he did, also don't get the Benson situation, as much as some fan's saying he's been injured I'm not buying it, he's supposedly fit to be loaned out 🤔

People pull all sorts of claims out their back end on here about the players and what’s going on within the club

It’s usually best to ignore it, unless the club say something
