Strange food combinations

I do enjoy crunchy peanut butter and grated cheddar cheese on a nice brown tea cake.

I cant do with that sugary bread with a bacon sandwich or a burger - Brioche, is it?

I casually said to my children, that my favourite was buttered bread, crunchy peanut butter and mayonnaise. Their looks told me I’d said a bad thing!

I lodged with an American colleague when I was 18.He ate jam on toast with a fried egg on top. Tried it myself and love it.

I asked for ketchup with jumbo sausage chips and gravy in a chippy in Oswaldtwistle. They looked at me as if I was an alien.
My mate, also from Oswaldtwistle, told me ketchup with gravy was weird?!

Ketchup and gravy is weird. Look at all the food you want gravy with, and look at the food you want tomatoes with. The Venn diagram where those intersect is very small.

Putting burgers on brioche grinds my gears as well. Terrible idea

Dark rye bread lightly toasted with sliced (cooked in own juice) beetroot topped with creamy coleslaw- open not a closed sandwich.
