Re: Today’s thread - Liverpool v Burnley
Are you watching a different game? The ball was passed back to Trafford who instead of smashing it invited pressure and then tried to smash the ball as he was being pressed and hit it about 12 yards. Yes, after that they were errors but if Trafford launches that the rest of the events would not have happenedPaul Waine wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 4:12 pmAre you 2 watching different games?
VAR taking a look...

The most frustrating thing about Amdouni, he messed up and had no urgency to recover his mistake. Just casually walked in behind play.

Ramsey should have gone down there from that kick by Mac Alister. Might have had chance it being ruled out by var then

Ramsay fouled in the build up. He should have thrown himself to the ground screaming like the fella who fouled him

In the build up to their second. Ramsey toes the ball away, Mcallister kicks him on the shin.
They score. VAR aren’t interested, they never run the film back that far. Goal stands.
VK gets booked for saying, “that’s a foul”.

Trafford is becoming so embarrasing now its beyond a joke. Then amoudi decides to put their man through with a great fake pass. Words fail me with the naivety of this team.

The USA network commentary is sure there should be a Liv foul in the build up, acting surprised the goal isn’t chocked off. I knew it wouldn’t be. They never will be. It’s just the facts. Now if we had scored that goal, it would have, and probably a card thrown in for fun.

I thought that, looked at several instances from several angles but completely ignored the foul. Wasn’t even checkedTricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 4:17 pmIn the build up to their second. Ramsey toes the ball away, Mcallister kicks him on the shin.

Macallister kicks Ramsey and goes down like he’s been shot. Ramsey stays on his feet. Comms on my feed say clear foul and a yellow card no goal but they forgot it’s Liverpool v Burnley

VAR doesn’t affect you when you’re 3-0 up. Just don’t be crap and you don’t need to worry.

Why didn’t Ramsey fall to the ground?? He’s got to recognise the importance of highlighting the obvious foul so even the useless tool in the VAR shed can’t miss it!!!

CLOSE!
Liverpool 2-1 Burnley
Andy Robinson picks out Darwin Nunez and he's denied from close range.
Burnley go up the other end, David Fofana is blocked by Caoimhín Kelleher and Wilson Odobert scuffs the rebound.
What a chance for Burnley! Some big saves from Kelleher.
