Digital tickets

Can anyone clarify if once a ticket has been downloaded into someones wallet can it be transferred to someone else and, if so, how? Or if not, if it's removed/deleted can it then still be reloaded onto another wallet?

Not sure on transferring it but I’d imagine taking a screenshot of the code and sending the image to the new recipient would work

I ended up with a digital ticket yesterday sent over.

Got a url link which didn't scan and missed start of the match having to mess about at the ticket office around a lot of disgruntled Liv fans who were saying this happens every match.

There were still people queuing at 3:20 at the ticket office bit waiting to get sorted. Absolute farce tbf

Not good. Was the link sent to you from the TO or somewhere else?

Link was from a mate who ended up with a spare.

Stewards said "usually happens to home fans every game but now it's starting to happen with away fans too"

Wouldn't mind a mess up as much if there weren't 3 people stood in the ticket office having a chat whilst I pointed out "the bass kicked off and I have to run all way back around the ground to get in whilst you're nattering".

Made it worse that I went over with the wife and her ticket worked fine so she got in, and I had to then run around outside trying to sort the issue with mine. With Jo signal around the ground.

So was the problem caused by the ticket having been photo-shot to your phone? Did they give you a paper ticket?

No, the url link was sent unused and it came up on my wallet" but wouldn't scan properly.

They ended up giving me a paper ticket but missed most the first half fadding about sorting it.

They had stewards who had a little scanner by the turnstiles who said "ticket is fine.... Don't know why you can't get in, then sent me to the ticket office to get a paper ticket instead of just letting me in knowing it was a problem on their end.

I've forwarded the email you get from the club several times with no issues at all.

I think the problem arises when people download the ticket more than once, or try to use a screenshot instead of the original

You can forward the email or link on as many times as you want, but you can’t open the ticket on two devices at the same time. You have to remove it from one first and then open it on the other.

You can’t use an image because it’s an NFC system, your phone literally talks to the reader and allows access. It worked perfectly yesterday, bit of a pain getting hold of the links but any problems are user error in my experience of this kind of thing

Ticketmaster have gone digital only, for some events.
I have Springsteen tix for May, you have to have the QR code live on your phone and it says on page “non-transferable”.
I hate ticketmaster with a passion. They have screwed me over so often.
This time I got on within 10secs. Went all through the process and got 2 pitch tix €90 apiece, until they rejected me(god knows why). Luckily this has happened so often I had the daughter online and when I was rejected she got the tix but she took “best available”. This sees us sat at the halfway line at €170 each. Grrr!!!
I f**king hate ticketmaster. I will never use them again.

BTW I have the daughters login details so no need to transfer.

My anxiety rises when they say "your tickets will be sent out a week before the event"

Usually works fine but I still panic for months thinking they won't get sent

I'm in this situation now with Foo Fighter tickets for June in Manchester. I know I won't get them until end of May at the earliest but I still check everyday, just for the peace of mind that I have them.

I have used screenshots for home tickets in the past. I haven't a ticket wallet and was scared of the Internet not working around the ground, for email access.

All worked fine.

They are massive scalpers they put their own tickets straight on resale sites ( stub hub?)to make double the money. I refuse to use them too.

Certain events it has to be live. A QR code with a purple line zipping across it. Constantly updating.

Just seen this on Google Wallet Help

Move single device passes
Certain passes can only be saved to a single device or Google Account. These passes need to be saved with the Google Wallet app.

To move them to a different device.
Remove the pass from the current device or Google Account.
Open the pass link from the new device.
Remove items from Google Wallet
Important: When you remove an item from your phone or smartwatch, it’s removed across devices.

No, can only be in one person’s wallet at a time. You can send the email to another person and they can then add it to their wallet but only if you have removed it from yours. Hope that’s clear.

All ours appeared to work OK at turnstiles, however one family of 5 where split into 3 different areas.

Surely if all bought together then they should be sat together?

Secondly considering the small allocation we took / where given I found it rather strange to hear “Liverpool accents” around us.

If they were split into different areas then that’s not the ticketing system but the seats they’ve chosen or been allocated.

We ordered tickets for Man City that then were used by home fans but at least we received alternative tickets together.
