Season ticket direct debit
Season ticket direct debit
Does anyone know when the last payment is for this season? I can’t find anywhere it tells me on my club account.

Pretty sure it's at the beginning of March with the following season starting in April

Apologies if I’ve missed it, but has anything been said about season tickets yet? Price/ early bird etc.
Are they waiting hoping we show some kind of form / fight to stay up (realistically no chance) before setting the price?

When has the info been released in previous seasons ?
I always thought it was around the time of the last payment giving people almost a month to contact the club to cancel should they wish.

I am only looking to renew if I can move seats. How does that process work in relation to the direct debit continuing but potentially not being required?

Just renew at early bird prices and move when seats become available.Penwortham_Claret wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 11:42 amI am only looking to renew if I can move seats. How does that process work in relation to the direct debit continuing but potentially not being required?
ST holders will have around 8 weeks to renew, before their seats go on the open market.

The club must have been struggling for cash flow.
I'm glad it's going back later, my first Season Ticket will have gone on sale in July.

You will have around 8k to choose from in my opinion.Penwortham_Claret wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 3:23 pmThanks for the reply. What happens if no appropriate seat become available?
3k won't renew as they're prem fans.
3k won't like the price increase.
There's around 2/3k matchday tickets that they leave until last.
You will have plenty of choice.

One off then - the January announcement has become a regular thing since the early bird cut off was brought forward to end of March

No season tickets the season after.

I predict it will be announced, after we beat Arsenal.

They can’t be contemplating price hikes for next season after sitting through that today….could they!
Re: Season ticket direct debit
I'm sure seat swaps won't be a problem
Re: Season ticket direct debit
I’m not sure we have ever had a more abject season at home, a price rise of any kind would be difficult to swallow.

Are they waiting for that one good home game to make the announcement?
Re: Season ticket direct debit
I don’t think announcing a price increase after this seasons showings will go down too well.

Re: Season ticket direct debit
The club are obviously waiting to see if there’s actually a chance we stay in the league because had we been sitting comfortable in mid table you’d beat at least another £50 increase to all season tickets.
When we go down it will probs stay at same price and they will try and justify it by us having more home games

Iam hoping any rise will be a small one, perhaps half of last year's 8%.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 7:56 pmThe club are obviously waiting to see if there’s actually a chance we stay in the league because had we been sitting comfortable in mid table you’d beat at least another £50 increase to all season tickets.

There’s going to be price rise and I’m OK with that as long as it’s realistic.

In a world where almost everything is going up in price it would be very naive to think there won’t be an increase in these as well.

I would be amazed if they don't go up a little, think most people accept it is very likely.
Some used to mock the previous board when they announced a price freeze on season tickets.

Re: Season ticket direct debit
It's always seemed fair to me to freeze season ticket prices upon relegation from the Prem. Lesser standard of football v four more games, same price balances it out. Fully expect a rise though and fully expect high sales.

If they are setting prices on the basis of performances on the pitch this season they’d end up paying us.

Re: Season ticket direct debit
Preston have charged £280 top price for their last 2 seasons in the championship.
Rovers top price is £360 but with plenty of cheaper alternatives for comparison.
Seems like some are happy with us charging £575-600 for 2nd tier football. Madness.

Re: Season ticket direct debit
Our top price is £500, how do you get £575 or £600 from, even a 10% rise wouldn't get to those prices, never mind the smaller rises people are suggesting.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:48 amPreston have charged £280 top price for their last 2 seasons in the championship.

A massive squad of staff and players, coupled with (hopefully) a promotion next season doesn’t come cheap.

99.9% of the time I think criticising someone for not going to matches is unreasonable and stupid but letting us know you're OK with a price rise on something you have no intention of buying is a bit out there.
