I thought he was absolutely awful. Couldn't find a claret shirt for toffee and looked miles off it.
Only recall one missplaced pass, but defensively I thought he looked okay in his 1v1 duels against one of/the best attacking teams in the league.

Will need to watch the goals back though.

Have a feeling that we defended set pieces a little better but I might be wrong.

You have to be really clutching at straws to find any positivity in that.
I'm an eternal optimist myself, and I can't find anything.

We have a very young manager and a very young squad. We have an amazing training ground and a proper football stadium. We also appear to have owners who care about the future. We will be back and we will be better and stronger. Anyone in my view not up for the battle and the ride can just stay at home. We don't need your negativity week in week out.

The fan who looked distraught at the end on MoTD when the fifth went in cheered me up strangely. A man more crestfallen than me!

Positives? Maybe after this match there will be no more endurance tests for the spectators.

Yeah we were genuinely awful in the 80’s. Big difference to today though with this massive squad of overpaid nothingness.
Then we had players who weren’t earning much more than us normal folk. Lads like Ashley Hoskins and Phil Malley.
We were shite yes. But even these lads seemed to have more fire in their belly’s than those pulling on the shirt yesterday.
We’ve had many far, far worse teams than this one in our history, but I don’t ever remember watching one as woefully inequipt to deal with the level it’s playing at as this one.

I am still alive and relatively healthy and watched the game with my new grandson asleep on my lap

Obviously we’ve had worse than this ,but if you compare the Burnley teams that have been relegated from the top division since the mid 60’s this is by far the worst, and definitely the one with the least fight.

I didn't see any lack of fight from the same team at anfield last week, or even the fight back against Fulham.

That’s 2 games out of 20+.

They're not the only ones, but the most recent, from a team that apparently has no fight

A positive: Trafford was offered some protection from our own players for the Arsenal corners in the first half, and including from Amdouni who was getting stuck in. Perhaps we've been practicing how to defend corners at last?

... And we didn't let 10 in from corners which some on here were wetting the bed about before the game
