Positives ,Us poor sods who had to watch it on tv have managed to get some of it off our chests
For a change I could only blame Trafford for one goal.
Negatives Would have RSI typing them all in.

None! Losing to an extremely impressive, expensively assembled side isn't the issue. Showing absolutely no fight, no aggression, no organisation and no ability at this level is. Embarrassing.

The only positives i can find are the über happy clappers staying off the board for a period of time with their nonsense and shouting everyone with an opposing( realistic) view down.

Positive is hopefully you are closer to a ban after your disgusting comment on Ramsey in the match thread

Fed up of explaining ,and I know your just **** stirring, but I made that comment before Ramsey touched the ground, and if I saw the lad I would apologise ,and probably the 5th person whose posted this ,so if CT wants to ban me I’ve no problem with that ,but it’s like telling a player to get up and don’t be soft and he then has an heart attack.

Sander Berge was a brilliant signing. Leagues and leagues ahead of our other midfielders.

Untill we have a manager like Captain Scarlet (for example) then we can never achieve a prolonged premiership status. Simple as that

True, this.
Just needed 1 or 2 more as good as him. Cannot believe that wasn’t prioritised in January tbh.

Positives for me are that I can get outdoors with the family instead of staying at home feeling miserable. It’s quite liberating to not watch this lot on a weekend at the moment. Would be more difficult to miss games if I felt the players actually cared. We seem to have some weak characters in that dressing room.

Struggling on this one, but will give it a go…
Though O’Shea was outstanding and continues to grow every game
Esteve okay. No great shakes but against one of the best teams this league has to offer he was comfortable-ish
Berge looked out best player
Charlie came on

You thought a CB that conceded five goals was “outstanding”
How can you possibly use that word to describe that performance.
I would say best of a bad bunch and looked like he is getting better (although miles of being a premier league player).

Some good away days in the Championship next season.

I’m struggling to see this “improvement” people (not just Vk) speak of. We still can’t defend, can’t score goals and we’re weak in midfield (Berge excepted). We still can’t defend set pieces, we still give the ball away far too easily and still get caught fannying about with it around our own box. This makes us the easiest team to be in the league, and that hasn’t changed since day 1 of this season.

Outstanding in that he did all that was asked of him. Headed everything away, can’t recall him to be at fault for a goal (haven’t had the advantage of watching on TV like you), was decent on the ball (think I recall one poor pass), was the only one organising, covered for others on more than one occasion. Fans near me were all applauding him throughout.
When your midfield is impersonating a sieve it’s difficult to be solid.

Yes but that is not the thinking by the club. Buy young and sell at a profit is their direction . I'm just unsure about the timescale between buying and selling.

That’s a fair point, they were a tad better. Thought we also gave them the freedom of the turf on theirs.

Two positives for me today. I had a tasty lamb dinner in the lounge before the match. The second was that Kompany was serving his touchline ban, so I didn’t have to see him standing almost in front of me. The bloke just makes me angry now as the weeks tick on.
I wish the season would end tomorrow.

No I can’t, a lot to like about assignon but diving in the way he did for the pens he’s asking for the attacker to make sure there’s contact. It’s a harsh yellow mind.
I understand the Liverpool performance was good so stick with same 11 but I can’t understand playing Delcroix at left back today when Taylor is back fit

I've had a chest infection for weeks now and generally been under the weather.
Normally, I'd want to be nowhere else than Turf Moor, but today I couldn't face sitting there in the wind and the rain. It is hard to be enthusiastic about abject failure week in week out it really is. Was it illness or I just couldn't be arsed, I've seen worse players, lower quality than this. But a worse team and by that I mean an XI of players proud to play for Burnley and fight for the badge.
So yes, poor positive but my season ticket sat unused for the first time in years but I didn't get wet.

Yeah we were genuinely awful in the 80’s. Big difference to today though with this massive squad of overpaid nothingness.
Then we had players who weren’t earning much more than us normal folk. Lads like Ashley Hoskins and Phil Malley.
We were shite yes. But even these lads seemed to have more fire in their belly’s than those pulling on the shirt yesterday.

I thought he was absolutely awful. Couldn't find a claret shirt for toffee and looked miles off it.
