Oh ok. Thanks. I have seen the film but not multiple times, like The Office, so I feel better about missing the reference now.

It really was a pretty awful film, which just backs up my point that Stephen Merchant was the real genius behind the Office.

Don't think either of them has written anything very good since The Office and Extras, personally.

Hello Ladies is quite good, and The Outlaws was funny when it tried to be funny, although the “dramatic” bits left me cold.

Derek and After Life (sorry Fretters) were just mawkish sentimental claptrap though.

All imho, of course.
