Must have been a terrible stream. Don’t think Berge won a header or tackle, or completed a pass. Truly shocking.

Mostly 3 because at least there was some effort pulling their shirt on prior to kick off, that's where the effort ended
Kompany out for me unfortunately because he's proven time and time again this season in every facet of his managerial style he isn't even close to being close at this level

That was bleak. We were dreadful throughout.
Special note for Amdouni who trotted around for 35 minutes contributing absolutely nothing. Anyone sat in the away end irrespective of their age or physical health would have offered more.

Trafford - 4 Some good saves but another game defining moment, that kills the game for us.
Assignon - 5 Part of a back four that had their backs against the wall, no need to get involved on the second goal, leave it to O'Shea and cover.
O'Shea - 5 Up against it with little or no help from the midfield or forwards.
Esteve - 5 See O'Shea
Taylor - 5 Little or no help in front of him, barely got forward at all.
Brownhill - 4 Anonymous while on, given a hospital pass by Trafford and correctly sent off. Couldn't play in a midfield two in our last Premier League stint and has regressed since.
Berge - 5 Tried to get on the ball but was playing on his own in there until Cullen came on.
Gudmundsson - 4 Spent most of the game playing as a second right back but didn't nothing with the ball when got did get it.
Odobert - 4 Anonymous for almost the entire game, some was us being poor on the ball but didn't press anywhere near enough when he had the opportunity.
Amdouni - 4 Poor before he was hooked after Brownhill was sent for a shower.
Fofana - 4 Isolated and physically dominated by the Palace back line
Subs:
Cullen - 5 Far better than Brownhill, needs to be part of a midfield three next week with Berge and probably Cork.
Vitinho - 4 One or two good attacking runs after the game was over but very poor for the penalty
We have to judge the game at 11 Vs 11 and in that period we defended okay but couldn't keep the ball for more two passes, Palace knew if they pressed us we'd give them the ball back immediately, a terribly toothless performance against a side we should be competitive against. We were a million miles off them in all departments.

No doubts he will say at 0-0 Wharton should have seen a second yellow, and he's right.
But let's be right - that was shambolic against a god awful side. Bringing Jay, Cork and Benson on so late is just sticking two fingers up at the fans.
He's losing the staunchest of clarets support. I just don't know what the plan is - have we even got a plan? Shocking at set pieces - both ends of the pitch, we don't do the basics of defending right, too many absolute lightweights who seem, for whatever reason, undroppable.
And for Trafford's sake he needs to take him out of the firing line - it's shocking management not to.

An absolute disgrace.
From the very first minute the attitude was just rank bad. Never looked like getting going, many just going through the motions.
That's before you get to the fatal individual errors once again and a team selection that just beggars belief.
Unacceptable.

Palace didn't play particularly well, but were streets ahead of us all over the pitch.
Another woeful performance. Against a side we really should be giving a game.
I've tried really hard to understand VKs thinking but can only assume he's given up on it.

Trafford 3 because his stupidity left us with ten men for a large portion of the game and his main saves were from offsides anyway.
Assignon 4
Taylor 4
Esteve 4
OShea 5
Brownhill 4
Berge 4
Odobert 4
JBG4
Amdouni 3 because I can’t give a 0 he was completely and utterly anonymous
Fofana 4
Cullen 6
VINCENT KOMPANY - Utterly clueless, stubborn, out of his depth my backing of him is hanging by a thread.
If he picks Trafford Amdouni plays 4-4-2 (and includes Odobert in a 4 man midfield) again next week then my backing of him will have turned completely.

We are having a good day out other than the match. Currently on the train back to St Albans, then something to eat there before the drive home. Just the two hours this afternoon that was crap but we won’t let that spoil our day.

Trafford 4 - His shot stopping isn't in question but everything else is abysmal. He clearly believes he is far better than his play suggests though.
Assignon 4
O’Shea 5
Estève 4
Taylor 4
Berge 5
Brownhill 3 - He smirked walking off, has he had enough?
Gudmundsson 4
Amdouni 3 - The most regressive player in the squad.
Odobert 4
Fofana 5
Cullen 6** - Maybe the only tryer we have yet was axed early season as a scapegoat for poor tactics.
Where do we go from here? Probably the lowest point of this season, until next week, then the following week...

Like all of us , we have watched Amdouni this season and tried to assess his qualities and his role in the team.
IMO the nearest Burnley player in this role that I can compare him with is Danny Ings.
But FFS after whatever amount of games he’s played it’s heartbreaking to see the chasm of difference between the two.
A 34 year old Ings with dodgy knees but a big heart would still be a far better option. Totally depressing, what we are watching now when you remember players like Ings etc.

Trafford 3 - +3 for some shot stopping
Assignon 4 - he at least puts in the effort
O’Shea 4 - bullied
Estève 4 -bullied
Taylor 4 - more solid than the alternatives but totally exposed on the left
Berge 4 - I still think our best player but I he has lost any belief
Brownhill 3 - completely hung out to dry by Trafford but totally ineffective before the sending off
Gudmundsson 4 - effort
Amdouni 3 - if I could score lower I would. He for me sums up everything that is wrong with this season.
Odobert 3 - without his moments of magic he is another passenger
Fofana 5 - puts some effort in at least but always a losing battle
Cullen 6 got in some of the players faces and tried to galvanise the team in breaks in play etc.
VK - I fear he has gone beyond the point of no return.

Unfortunately missed the first 10 minutes due to the coach being stuck in traffic so to be fair to the lads I won’t post any individual score (just in case I missed any of them being in any way competent during that initial period).
From what I saw, I would like to award 10 points, to be split evenly between the entire squad, coaching team and ownership group.
8/10 for the travelling support given the circumstances.
So glad I have a couple of beers to drink on the coach back home. Onwards and upwards, we go again. Even if the current team doesn’t look like they want to. UTC!
