I reckon the last chance saloon had it's windows boarded up long ago....AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 6:48 pmThe Sat game is for all intents and purposes our last chance saloon .

There’s no point boarding up the windows of a saloon as you could just crouch under the door and walk straight in.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 7:02 pmI reckon the last chance saloon had it's windows boarded up long ago....

Now that you mention it

Not a cat in hells chance of us losing on Saturday in fact I’ll back my house on it ,clairvoyant? no ,AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 6:48 pmThe Sat game is for all intents and purposes our last chance saloon . I’m being insanely optimistic, but if we could somehow put back to back wins together and get a bit of backs to the wall fight about the place then who knows ? especially with Forest awaiting points deducted .
Do I realistically think we’ll start a great escape “ campaign “? alas I fear the only “ start” will be the early preparations of the Fat Lady herself .
I don’t think we play until Sunday.

I think we will finish Bottom
Hope not but I can’t see how we will get any points
I watch most games in the premier and I haven’t seen a team that has less fight than us.
It’s frightening for me to say that as I’m a die hard Burnley through and through
It will be championship for us next year and if we can keep the same squad together next year we will have a good chance in going up.
We do have some young skilled players but just not up to premier league standard. I’m confident they will get there just to early now

Bournemouth Home - POSS DRAW
West Ham Away - POSS DRAW
Brentford Home - POSS DRAW
Chelsea Away - LOSS
Wolves Home - LOSS
Everton Away - LOSS
Brighton Home - LOSS
Sheff Utd Away - DRAW - POSS WIN
Man Utd Away - LOSS
Newcastle Home - LOSS
Tottenham Away - LOSS
Notts Forest Home - WIN - Nothing for either team to play for.
For me final total 20 points - possibly 22 points
Sadly I don’t think you’re far out as we couldn’t even beat Luton at home.
