Isn’t it time that chairman Pace comes from under his rock and faces up to the position we are in and we are likely to go down as one of worst teams to ever to play in the Premier League our home record is abysmal as is our points total. What as happened to the BFC (not this team)who Neil Warnock said was best championship he had seen in 25yrs.At the moment i don’t think we could beat any of top 6 in the championship. So it’s time Pace came forward he owes it to the fans who pay their hard earned money to be treated to abject performances every match so he owes us an explanation

He's not a football man as such. What could he say that would satisfy you and his critics. We all know that mistakes have been made, but we also know that Pace and VK are on a long term project that has had a problematic season following an excellent season. The long term aim remains the same, to be a Premier League team that can avoid a relegation fight, season on season. We go again, starting next season, almost certainly in the Championship.

When he has something to say, that's for our ears, we'll
know about it.
Until then, we have no right to know what he says or is thinking.
Night god bless.

Whilst I appreciate we aren’t entitled to know his thoughts, I think the original poster has a point in that Alan seemed to be giving interviews or responding to fans most weeks when things were going well on the pitch last season.
His silence speaks volumes this year.

Having appointed a guy who got us out of the championship at a canter he, Pace (not unsurprisingly) backed his guy by giving him approximately 100 million quid to spend to strengthen the squad for the rigours of the higher league. His guy spent badly, messed up and has let him down. He (Pace) is probably sitting in a darkened room trying to pen something acceptable ready for the next meeting with his co money men. Tbf, he doesn't have to answer to me. He's not a football man. He shelled out the cash and the football men chucked it away.

When you say he owes it to the fans, it seems it is you who needs to hear something so say this, don't speak on behalf of others.
What exactly would you like to hear him say, will it make you feel better on hearing whatever it is you need ?

If he's not a football man he shouldn't be running a football club or at least trying to or whatever he's supposed to be doing. Things are shitshaped at the moment it wouldn't take that much to allay some fears & offer basic reassurances that there's a plan of some description. I don't think anybody's asking for chapter & verse or every little intricate detail.

I meet him at Turf on a match day quite regularly and he's always willing to stop and talk to any fan who wants to speak to him. I don't understand the vitriol towards him from some people on an anonymous forum, I mean you wont find Daniel Levy chatting to the regular fans at Spurs will you (maybe he does, I just dont know) and I am fairly sure that the Glaziers at Utd dont mingle with the fans...

Is this phrase from Dyche? Your local wording or have you just missed a word out?
Burnley slang would be 'on't Turf', shortening 'the'
'At Turf Moor' or 'at the Turf' would be the queen's English.

Is that going to make you feel better.
We all know the mistakes we've made this season, it doesn't require the Chairman, manager or a TV pundit to explain it.
Hindsight is wonderful, and I'm sure AP put his faith in Kompany. You don't hire a manager, then tell him what to do, he has to stand and fall on his own decisions.
The end of the season is the right time to address the fans, and so long as we learn from the mistakes of this season we'll be right.

While I respect AP ,he’s simply an investor after a return and it would be re-assuring to hear some words from the pint sized preacher.
Perhaps confirming that VK will be with us next season would steady the ship and get the naysayers on board ?
Any company in such dire straits or having a very rough period would expect nothing less .

This is all a bit 'professional football clubs are businesses' shocker.
We are customers/consumers, and this has been the case since the game went professional all those years ago - it's just that nowadays this is more stark now that the game has media rights worth north of £10 billion. The more money in the game, the more unappreciated and totally disenfranchised we (fans) have become.
Demanding the 'powers that be' do this or that simply doesn't work. For all the good it will do you, you may as well stand outside your preferred supermarket with a loudhailer and rant about how they no longer sell your favourite brand of lard.
Anyhow, for some small comfort, at least our owners aren't sat thousands of miles away like a few I could mention.
