Hard nose capitalists. Which i don't mind, if it is competent. There does remain, however, a whiff of the old "make it up as they go along" syndrome and a real lack of pro-active communication from the club which leaves a vacuum to be filled with speculation of varying mood.

Nobody should have to be contacting anyone about season tickets. The prices should be out and they should be on sale. As they are not out, we should be told why.

Either outright - How much needed?
Or DD - if we lose a month, payments then increase, even if the same price maintained.

Whilst I agree that reactions to things on here can be quite hysterical at times, I think people who have a monthly direct debit which is due to expire/renew at the end of this month should have been communicated as to what to do or expect.Winstonswhite wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 12:55 pmThe next season doesn’t start for at least another 20 weeks, you do know that don’t you?

The days of communication are pretty much long gone
these days I'm afraid, which is ironic given the numerous
platforms, apps and machines/devices that are prevalent
in today's society.
As for BFC, we are now being treated in the typical American way. All
top show with very little or no substance.

Re: Season tickets next season
There is another way to look at this delay in season ticket announcements and that is the club does not appear to have any pressing cashflow requirements for it's day to day costs - though being a 1st year Premier League team - it shouldn't have.
good, timely and appropriate communication is an essential tool in in maintaining and enhancing a club's relationship with it's fans. The early announcement of season ticket prices is an established trend with the club under the previous and current ownership, therefore a change in that practice warrants a certain level of communication as to why - it doesn't have to be too revealing and we know that the club are well capable of doing such.

Re: Season tickets next season
My guess is that all current season ticket holders are going to get next season entirely free as a loyalty bonus after this somewhat disastrous one. (People will of course have the right to opt out and cancel, so I'd expect a few on here will certainly take that option). Those without season tickets currently will be hit with a hefty increase on last year's cost should they choose to get one.

Ian Mcl I think my name is mud anyway after the stink I kicked up, and the emails I sent to all the hierarchy, re the Everton fans in the upper JH and the chaos they caused.
These are the people who suggested they would understand if I chose not to attend future games.
I replied that we would be here as supporters long after they had gone.

We've seen just one home win and it's mid March and tbh I can't see us getting another. If I was Alan free season tickets for next term would just be the bloody start!! In truth I do feel privileged and slightly smug because I went to Luton, so I've actually witnessed 2 thirds of our winning "streak"!!Blue Skies wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 2:57 pmDark Cloud. I’ve emailed 3 times in 18 months re the same problem, and received no response despite being told twice over the phone that the email address I had was the correct one for that issue.
Go figure.

By starting a month later, they’ll be losing a months payment? They’ll want to recoup that, or am I bring thick?clarets1978 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 4:20 pmThat post doesn't say they're going to increase, just that they will start in May
Re: Season tickets next season
I’m expecting (like others have said) with no evidence whatsoever that the early bird option will go and it will be one season ticket price for each category. That may mean May to May is the new payment procedure or maybe not. It’s a joke now though. The response I got mid Feb was they were just waiting for final confirmation on prices and that should be by the end of feb. A little bit of information (to all) wouldn’t go a miss.
The league and form we are in would never stop me getting a season ticket, and though I can afford a price rise I do have a limit that I’ll pay on principle. The way some of those in positions of power behave / act may just push me over the edge if I’m close to the line of what I’ll accept.

Can’t work out if it is an ironic obsession with screens for the generation now in charge leading to no people skills, or taking customers for granted (including public sector “customers”). Probably both. It only ends one way though. Customer drain.

Hi All ,
Bought a ticket for family member this morning and thought I'd ask about season tickets.
I received the usual response. Still finalising details until end of month.
Maybe they just waiting until it's mathematically impossible to be in Premier next season.

Re: Season tickets next season
Less than 3 weeks until next direct debit goes out !
Why is everything such hard work ?
I have never felt more disconnected to the club .
This will be my 51st Season ticket if they ever get round to letting me have one.
If they are shooting the early bird then let’s have the guts to tell us

They are not shooting the early bird, just rumours spread on here by people with nothing better to do
Do you actually feel disconnected, or is it just the fashionable thing to say, what does it mean?

Re: Season tickets next season
Spike's post is spot on. As for being disconnected, it is pretty obvious what is meant. There is always a downbeat feel to a relegation but the club has continued to battle on with a team that the best part of 20000 fans can see is not right and has not produced and rolled over so many times. All we are asking is a communication regarding next season ticket situation!

I don't think fans/customers wanting a bit of clarity about their season tickets is too much to ask. Especially as the club are releasing info a lot later than normal.
