Problem is we have to score at least 2 more likely 3 to win any game. An we are not very good at scoring.

I know - and I have been massively pessimistic for the last couple of weeks which is unlike me but given the uncertainty around Everton and Forest we need to be competitive and be at the best we can be!

I'd hoped we could start a run from last week, just because of what could happen re point deductions... Now it'll have to start tomorrow

This season at least 4 teams deserve to go down. Everton nearly make it 5 but their run before Christmas for a month will keep them up.

So if by some miracle we stay up ahead of those other teams (Sheffield, Luton, Forest) it will be deserved, and if they stay up, they will be darn lucky, because they don’t deserve to stay up either. Forest will end on 32 points max, less any points penalty.

Benchmark Points deduction has now been set at 6 following Everton appeal.

Luton could get 6 deducted and takes them to 18

Everton could get a further 6 which takes them to 19

Forest not Luton

More chance of John Lennon making a comeback.

Imagine if we somehow got back to back wins and forest got a -10 deduction . Stranger things have happened …

I think the genuine and only real possibilty of us staying up this season is based upon teams having point deductions, and that's the sad reality. Won't give up until it's mathematically impossible though and I'm sure our players will do the same!

It's the only way to be.

Negativity spreads like a disease.

Like any realistic person I think it's highly likely that we will go down, but I won't carry on like 'forget it, we're down, it was over in December..etc' like some of these miserable gets on here.

I've never, ever seen a Burnley side so far away from the required standard in the division they are in. I'm approaching 66 and I've seen plenty of football, but never, ever have we been so far adrift of the standard we're playing at.
