Maybe playing vitty and assignon as proper wing backs with taylor Esteve and o'Shea holding at the three??

I just feel like not following the game, just checking in around 3:00 to see how we did.
My heart won't let me though.

How benson can not get in that starting eleven is truly a modern day mystery.
That’s got to be up there with one of the worst starting elevens I’ve seen us field at this level.
Probably go an win now haha

No wonder why our team has no consistency, he expects the players to learn a new system every week.

Bruun Larsen as the number 10 behind Fofana?
I am at least glad to see some change, but interesting to see how he has set yhis one up.

Watching the game onboard the P&O Aurora - heading to the Azores - fortunately the sound is off at the moment so I don’t have to listen to Owen and Scholes talking about the bloody Manchester derby ! UTC !!

At home. Against Bournemouth. We have moved to 5 at the back.

More likely to be 4-2-3-1 I'd say but who knows. Brun Larsen playing off Fofana with Vitinho and Odobert wider.

In a must win game- he fields an X1 that looks to be set up to try not to lose. Baffling

Assignon on the wing maybe. He kept appearing there last week which the wingers didn't seem to be expecting.

Vitinho has gone from being Championship back-up to Premier League starter without having made any improvements and having poor game after poor game for about six months. It's bizarre. His constant selection is making me think I know nothing about football, hey maybe I do.
Buzzing there's no Amdouni though. About three months too late.

Any ideas on the system. Beginning to look like throwing sh*t at a wall and seeing if some of it sticks.

Wondered this too. He might sit Vitty back and push Assignon forward. Bruun Larsen has to be either upfront with Fofana or just in behind, he can't be on the wing with this line up, unless we have gone 5 at the back.

I would guess it's either 5 at the back with Taylor CB Vitinho LB, because why not have 2 players out of position, or 442/4411 with Vitinho at RM and Brun Larsen at ST/CF because why not have 2 players out of position (even if I do think Larsen on paper has the attributes for a deep forward, it's not worked in practice so far). Maybe 4231 with Larsen CAM.
That is a baffling and uninspiring lineup to say the least.

It’s a tired record but keeping Trafford in the nets is a continuing decision that’s now bordering on unbelievable. The lad is under so much pressure - v poor management.
Vitinho on the wing is…inexplicable. If it’s actually five at the back, even more so.

Vitinho had a couple of decent games a few months ago but has by and large struggled yes.
But I feel sorry for him when he's several times been a rightback getting swapped to leftback, and isn't the most defensively capable yet keeps being put behind Odobert who simply doesn't do ANY defensive work. He's playing badly but that's setting him up to fail, basically guarantees vulnerability on the left.

Micah Richards trying to defend Vincent and the team.
Roy Keane joins in the conversation and tells it exactly how it is. We are dreadful and Vincent being an ex world class centre half should be seeing the glaring problems with the defence and the goals we are giving away - schoolboy stuff.

I’ve read a couple of murmurings that the media have been kind to VK, the only article I have seen that slated VK was by Richard Keys after the United game in August calling it a vanity project.

His logic is "Everyone else is injured or not playing as much as him".
It's pretty poor reasoning honestly. Him saying he's not part of why we're where we are shows he has never watched Trafford play and just goes off the number of games stat. I do think Trafford will be a good keeper if he's not ruined early, but he has cost us a lot of goals and points and has had probably around 250 minutes of good football all season, 300 if I'm being generous.

He will be #1 for England for years.
