Re: Tonight’s Football
First premier league game to hit double figures of goals?
Re: Tonight’s Football
Predictions……. 0-7?
Re: Tonight’s Football
I put 5-0 to Arsenal in the pub competition. Looks like I am going to be way out with that one.

Re: Tonight’s Football
the league title could well go down to goal difference so it's in Arsenal's interest to score at least 10

Re: Tonight’s Football
Worth noting that Sheff United literally lost their two best players to start the season and were in a bit of turmoil... One of them to us who's arguably been our player of the season

It's only going to get worse for them as they are chasing shadows.
Most teams just try and sit it when they're getting mullared. Save a bit of energy.

Re: Tonight’s Football
my school team lost 15-0 in a cup final against Teds - Chris Casper scored 6........all from within his own half, John Mullin scored 5. I think 4 or 5 of their team turned pro, I think we gave up after 5-0 tbhCarlos the Great wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 8:31 pmI played Sunday league and lost 13 nil once .. that’s was the day I thought I might not play for Burnley after all .. aged 12 ..

Re: Tonight’s Football
This is not Wilder’s fault - he stepped in after other heavy defeats at a club who lost their best two players from last season.

Their fans are worse than ours....
Re: Tonight’s Football
Too think Arteta was under real pressure a few seasons ago and Arsenal fans wanted him gone.

Relentless this, feel bad for United but glad that we're not the worst team, yet anyway

Re: Tonight’s Football
Nothing to do with any other club - this is not Wilder’s fault and probably not Heckingbottom’s for that matter.

Bad as Sheff U have been, this is unbelievable from Arsenal. There’s very little space to work in when Sheff U are camped behind the ball but they’re making it look easy.

Until tonight, were we the only team to be 5-0 down at home at half time since football began in 1992? (City under Laws)

I’m here all night. Well actually I’m not as the missus is coming downstairs any minute so looks like I’ll be flicking over and missing the second half.

Feel genuinely sorry for Sheffield United, glad it's not us playing Arsenal tonight, they look ominously good.

Reckon they'll ease off second half and rest a few.

Had a fiver on Sheff United just to soften the blow if they won at 16/1 ….. that might now be the full time score
