The first ever get together of what became Melbourne Clarets happened on this day 10 years ago. After putting a post on our β€œmad” predecessor enquiring if any Clarets in Melbourne would like to watch the derby together. What a night, the start of something special.
The first of many great Clarets nights.

Into our tenth year. We have a big downunder party arranged in a few weeks, Saturday 20th April, Melbourne, Sydney & NZ Clarets getting together for the β€œWooden-spoon Derby” v Sheffield United. We will possibly have 3 ex-Clarets attending, Mike Conroy, Nathan Peel & Doug Hodgson. If anyone is in the city, come along and join in. Meeting at Burnley Brewing, 648 Bridge Road
Richmond, Melbourne. VIC 3121

Thanks all.
UP THE CLARETS.

Congratulations to you all from myself and the WEST YORKSHIRE CLARETS gang. Supporters Groups are absolutely essential to many in our fanbase. The way they’ve been seemingly pushed to the side, as far as the club is concerned, is a concern.

There's at least 4 people from Padiham C.C on the 3rd photo.
I presume it was when England were out there for the ashes?

Happy 10th Anniversary! My daughter went there a couple of years ago and loved it. I've been watching Master chef Australia which is in Melbourne, it looks like a great city. UTC.

Yes, it was Boxing Day Test at the MCG. Also Ramsbottom, Accrington & Rawtenstall CC represented.
The night of the Steven Defour free kick at Old Trafford.
