Not at all. I wanted to put it all in one post, but had to leave the room and then ran out of time, but it doesn't make the point less valid.

I believe we're going to try and defend a corner. Heard the club shop are selling "I was there when we tried to defend a corner" t-shirts.

I actually appreciate they are looking at it as a long term thing and not just this season. I think the summer is going to be very interesting

Insulting the supporters would be him saying, with ten games to go, that he's given up and written-off the remaining games, despite the fact that most now recognise we will be relegated. He has to show hope and say we will approach the rest of the games positively, when asked.

Tbf, last summer was very interesting, but it's not amounted to a whole hill of beans in the long run.

Maybe he’s hoping we might score and hold the lead for a 1-0 win before the end of the season.

There were many changes last summer with the number of players coming in, but most of them weren't of the required standard for a season in the PL (at least not yet).

Are these called 'soundbites'? I'm in my 70's now and way out of touch with the current trends. Oh how I sometimes long for those times when the only announcements I heard were on the tannoy pre-kick off and team changes were given out. Bill Bothwell had probably had his say on the midday sports service on radio for how our local clubs might get on but I soon learned that he had little time for Burnley and so tended to ignore him. I know I'm reminiscing and it's not always a good thing but I genuinely never heard Harry Potts' voice ever. His programme notes became monotonous but that wasn't his fault. His job was to prepare a team for 3pm on the pitch and overall he did a fantastic job. Rant over.

I would love to see him put on our shirt for one or two games and show how it's done.

He actually said that we are really dangerous from set pieces, just not good at converting them.

Yes, I was being slightly ironic, but I genuinely was excited with all the signings we were making last summer and the players we were (apparently) chasing. Unfortunately, the proof of the pudding has proved to be somewhat underwhelming. Therefore I'll not be getting too worked up about this summer's activities. I'll reserve any unbridled excitement until the beginning of December (if indeed there is any cause for excitement!)

They’ll be nothing special about this season. The towel was thrown in long ago. I can’t listen to his interviews anymore. Dyche used to repeat a lot of things but at least there was some realism and honesty with it. There was also evidence of real hard work and team preparation between matches.
