As much as the results this season have created such a deep hurt, for me whats increased the pain is the omission of players like Cullen. We all know he lacks that physicality of a CDM in the PL, and maybe height, but he has in bucket-loads what a lot of our more inexperienced midfielders do not possess, yet they have been starting. For me no excuses as the lad has played for VK in a number of games both in England and Belgium, and for good reasons one of VK's first signings for us

It's been done to death, but it is like all the new boys had to play to increase their value.
