Cornet back if we survive?

I know its very unlikely but would you take Cornet back if we stay up.
I would if he can stay fit.

Don’t think so. He started brilliantly for us but then fizzled out massively with some disastrous misses (West Ham, Norwich) being a telling factor in our relegation. I know he has had injuries, but not shown anything at West Ham to change my mind.

Won't happen. Doesn't fit our profile anymore. Far too injury prone and will want buckets of cash.

No
And he wouldn’t come back, he rightly believes he’s levels above Burnley, he just can’t stay fit

No, I think Kompany would get a tune out of him but he's to injury prone.

No thanks. He’d be injured half the time, probably cost £10m and would severely underwhelm. Let the memories stay where they are.

Shame isn’t it
I think long balls from Muric with Cornet in on goal would see a fair amount of goals though. His strikes were absolute thunder bolts.
We need the next guy like how he started.

Big Yes from me - at his best probably the most skilful player I’ve seen in a Burnley shirt

How often has he started for WHU in almost 2 seasons, and more significantly how many games has he been fit to play. From WHU point of view he has proved to be a dreadful signing

Was more than good enough, he's a supremely talented player.
We've both moved on though - can see him perhaps playing in Saudi or back to France post West Ham.

Think back to when he first came to the club though, Kolo and Odobert are nowhere near as good , yet.
If he could sort his injury problems out and recapture that goalscoring form i would have him back.
I bet Mr President would like him back too.

I’d sooner have you back Mr Francis.
He was a novelty signing for us, foreign, attacking and a bit tricky- someone that gave us all hope. We have a list of those players now in the club.

Yes. Hes a goalscorer. The opposite of Koleosho in a way, who puts in miles of running without any end product.
Cornet has that goalscorers instinct. Hed add a lot to the squad. Id definitely prefer him to Amdouni or Odobert in the number 10 role too.

I think he will come back and be better than before i think he owes us one.

Hes been shite since he left us.
I havent seen a player hit the ball better for Burnley.
Mr President will make it so.

Koleosho no end product? Bit harsh, still very very young, break through Prem season and was getting better and better prior to Wolves away. Put loads of decent balls in to the box. That lad is gonna be mustard. Hopefully comes through the same as before his injury.

If he could get fit his shot would be lethal from just outside the box, either left wing or no.10 just for the random factor.

Look back.. Ok
What's he done since?
You don't like signing players with potential, why then sign an injury prone player... Baffling

If he had end product hed be a world beater. Unfortunately he doesnt and i do wonder if thats something that can really be taught to some extent. The big thing i noticed was that a lot of the time he wasnt even getting many goalscoring opportunties which suggested to me that he didnt have that instinct. That did improve just before the injury and he started to get more chances which was promising.

Unfortunately no, the physio is busy enough without adding him to the equation.
I really enjoyed his spell at the club, but we don't need to be gambling on more players like that.

Cornet proves the business model can work. He was very good for us, without ever playing a full 90 minutes if I remember rightly, and we made a good profit on him after one season. He's barely played a minute since. Why would we even consider going back?

The only former player that would make any sense, league dependent, is:
PL - Ings
FLC - Barnes
