The age old question of club or country is doing the rounds on twitter. Thought I'd see where people are at on here.

1) Would you rather Burnley stay up this season or England (or your alternative country) win the Euros this summer? Choose one.

2) Would you rather Burnley win the FA Cup next season or England (or your alternative country) win the next World Cup? Choose one.

These are separate hypothetical scenarios where your answer to question 1 shouldn't impact your answer to question 2 and vice versa i.e. it's not an acca

Considering we're going down anyway, I'd probably like to see England win something. Southgate's been close, he probably deserves it.

Honestly, I’d rather Burnley win a friendly match than England win anything, and I’ve been to a few international games, although not since the days of Beckham et al.

I really struggle to find the current England team relatable.

Definitely club. 100%. And I would actually class myself as an England ‘fan’. But there’s no debate.

Don't understand why Southgate 'deserves' to win something. Sounds like the commentator earlier this week ( Murphy?) who I believe mentioned that Newcastle United's supporters 'deserve so much more'.
Why is that then?

Club for both every time. If this was a few years ago when Burnley had 3-4 England players I MIGHT consider Euros/Relegation a little more, but overall I have very very little attachment to the national team and don't feel like they represent me much, I am generally reasonably patriotic, I've been to multiple internationals in the past 18 months and support England at every tournament regardless of this detachment but Burnley comes first, it's the club my family have always supported and that takes precedence.
