Will any of you be taking the opportunity to support grass roots level local clubs?

Myself I hope to attend Ashington vs Grimsby Borough a NPL Eastern Division mid table clash, although it is a trifle windy up here atm with 40 mph+ gusts so not expecting any Burnley like Samba football.

I note that Clitheroe have an important game with play off rivals Runcorn Linnets and play off contenders Padiham are at home to Chorlton.

Up to the ruby Civil Arena (aka the Arbories) for Padiham and hopefully another step towards the play offs.Half price in for season ticket holders making it £3.50 should be a decent crowd up

I often go and watch Kendal Town play. Literally a 5 minute walk from where I live.

Good club.

Is it still up by the Park?
Went on a couple of times in the mid 90s when living in the wilds of Potters Fell.
They were called Netherfield then.

Got my brain in gear and checked. It's a 3 o'clock KO

Shame about the weather, it might affect the gate. Hope it doesn't too much.

It’s useless in the south as most games are washed out due to heavy rain.

I went to watch my local side Trafford FC v 1874 Northwich who are bottom of the league and winless in the last 21 games hoping for some light relief after our season thus far!

Trafford drew 2-2 watched by me and 416 others.

Needless to say my anxiety watching football this season has not decreased any 😂

The game I wanted to see was a 20 minute walk away but due to the pitch being waterlogged it was switched to an astro turf pitch a car drive away and I didn’t have transport.

So no I was unable to support non-league day.

Nicely settled in the Three Pigeons in Halifax only to find out game against Ebbsfleet called off as pitch waterlogged - again . Okay for me being local but felt for the handful of Ebbsfleet fans who'd travelled up from Kent and a Birmingham City who'd chosen this as his non league match . Went off to watch Brighouse Town v Hebburn Town instead. Stunning!

I did Nelson v. St Helen's - bottom v. top in the NWCL.Div 1 North. A mudbath and it rained throughout. St. Helen's won 1-0 but there was nothing between the teams really.
