They fixed part of the lower North Stand in the close season too. It's just maintaence on stands that are nearly 30 years old

Company that built the stands, Linpave went bust nearly 15 years ago. Not sure if there would have been any obligatory work for rectifying defective concrete if they had still been in business?

Latent defect period is usually 6 years, or possibly 12 depending on the contract. The club may (but probably not) have some latent defects insurance. The stands are almost 30 years old though.

Longside opened 28 years ago next month - I almost disbelieved the almost 30 years initially but we are not far away.

I'd hazard a guess that there is more time gone now since then than between the CFS and the 'new' Longside opening.

It is - less than 27 years between cricket field stand opening (July 1969) and Longside (April 1996)

When beehole end was extended at the back. I remember it was closed for a while due to mines in the area, so maybe these mines havnt gone away.

I doubt very much it's RAAC concrete. Might be some movement that needs addressing, that said on the U21 thread someone said they were repairing the roof so the seats were removed to allow the access platform in

They will be the most knowledgeable as if you add up all their ages it would be well over 10,000,000 plus
