I am going to penang/langkawi/kuala lumpur and was wondering if it was better to pre order my transfers or get a taxi from the airport. Any advice would be appreciated.

Personally I would just get a taxi meter at the airport but it is pre covid since I was there..

Am I right in saying that you pay at the airport and get a receipt then give it to the driver. Or are they all metered taxis?

Download the grab app and use that. It's their version of user and cheaper.
