6 Red Cards
6 Red Cards
Much has been made of our 6 red cards for PLAYERS this season. Pre match last night we were trying to recall who they were. We could get 5 but the last one eluded us.
Zaroury v Citeh at home
Foster v Forest away
Berge v Villa away
Brownhill v Palarse away
Assignon v Chelsea away
And who else?

Re: 6 Red Cards
It’s unbelievable we went over 70 matches without a red card under Dyche.

Re: 6 Red Cards
Our discipline has been pretty poor this season. Under Dyche we had six premier league red cards throughout his tenure and we’re talking games into the hundreds. This is definitely an area we should look to improve in

Re: 6 Red Cards
True but I’d attribute a lot of this to the age demographic of Kompany’s squad vs Dyche’s squad. Doesn’t make it right but clearly a big factor. Regardless of which division we’re in next season, we need to add a couple of experienced leaders to mentor the young lads and set the standard.

Re: 6 Red Cards
It has and it hasn’t.
We sit 10th in the “Fair Play” table and have one of the fewest number of yellow cards in the division.

Re: 6 Red Cards
It’s an interesting one… Yellow cards… I have absolutely no issue in players ‘taking one (yellow) for the team,’ but what I do have an issue with is petulantly getting booked within the first 10 to 15 minutes of the game for deliberately kicking the ball away or for deliberately heading the ball out of an opponent’s hands when they are about to take a throw, because there is no doubt that being on a silly yellow card with well over an hour of a game to play, significantly diminishes a player’s ability to truly give 100% in their individual battles.
