Topcat-when I was at school, I would often pop in to Woolies (Woolworths) on the way back home. I used to love their "pick and mix" sweets. I am sure I often saw VK in the queue

Kompany continues to show both arrogance and stupidity in his selections. He doesn’t learn and insists he is right when all evidence points to the opposite. As the OP says put players in their best position including

Berge - Right Midfield or Right Wing where he has played all his career

Taylor - left back. No other options need to be tried

Tresor - no need to try and justify your mistakes by playing him

Can't disagree with any of the comments. I'm not surprised certain players couldn't wait to get out the door.

Spot on from the OP. This has been going on all season. No sure what Mr Kompany is thinking half the time with selections and then the subs. But it seems like over thinking is going on. That as well as trying shoehorn certain players in

The one place Odobert should be playing is wide left. Does anyone other the Kompany think differently? Not playing Foster down the middle remains very weird as well. These types of choices and the poor use of subs are why we are going down.

So frustrating to watch it.

If you make a decision to play a player out of position and it works, you're a genius. If it doesn't work at least you've tried. If it doesn't work and you keep doing it, with the same results, then you're either stupid or have gone mad.

I just can't work out why Taylor was dropped yesterday for Vitinho just as he was at Chelsea and then comes on . Vincent really does make baffling decisions..

I can't believe we haven't tried Foster and Fofana up top together.

Yep, usually a stopped clock is right twice a day. That will probably be Sheffield Utd home and away (I hope!).

We have been playing decent just put the players in the right places and we should get a win like against Brentford , why this need to change everything constantly?

Dyche was pretty good at not changing things for the sake of it. Something VK needs to learn.

I think in 7 seasons of the PL, SD played Tarks in midfield several times, and Jeff Hendrick right wing for a run of games, or as a No 10 if short of strikers. Other than that everyone played in their most suitable positions. Maybe thats why we could compete for 7 years in this division

It’s already fairly obvious that Fofana and Foster aren’t a pair. One or t’other with a number 10 or my preference Brownhill in a 3 man midfield.

Assignon is a decent overlapping FB and would allow JBL to slip in closer to the CF.

It’s the work of someone untouchable, to do this in the face of such regular bad results and performance's just says he is under zero pressure and it’s all about him.

Positions, team selections, substitutions (timing as well as player choices) and tactics have all been a complete mystery to me this season.

We haven’t had our best player in each position start a game together all season, to me on paper our best 11 would be
