Sorry no updates from me. Must be the only ground in the country where I can’t get a signal.

But really one sided and we could have won by a much bigger score.

Somewhere between 100 and 200 I'd estimate.

Any idea who the trialist was? He looked good on the ball, few decent runs and passes even if he was trying to a bit too hard to make an impression at times, could tell he was on trial.

I can not understand why a Premier League stadium with 20,000 plus customers do not have access to a mobile signal/service.
Maybe the club should be flagging this up with the various service providers.

He was played on the right wing in the first half and then swapped places with Bevan and went up front in the second.

Set up the opener by beating his man and putting a cross in from the right. Showed some good pace, strength and dribbling in flashes. Scrapped well in defence, remember one crunching tackle in the first half. In the second half he looked tidy but didn't have much influence, had one chance to break into the area but had the ball nicked off him by the defender before he could get a shot away.

It was weird game. It seemed like it wasn't a game for strikers today. Bevan was mostly absent all of the first half when he was up front but as soon as he moved to the right wing in the second he looked dangerous and had much more of the ball. Richardson only got on the ball when he dropped deeper or moved out wide too. Seemed we didn't know how to get the striker involved. Though it didn't really matter as we had them on toast down the wings and we controlled the game throughout apart from a couple of loose moments early doors.

I was OK initially and then nothing. Thought it was this site at first but I had no access at all. It's not the football club, although I know that's horrendous on first team match days. I'm on Sky Mobile which uses O2 and I can't use it in town at any time.

I'm on Sky too. Can't get anything at all on a regular match day, but had no issues today.

Strange - mine was fine once I got home and was fine until I tried to post the second goal.

Thanks for the report Mattster 👍🏻

I ask because he looks a real talent to me. Mainly due to his pace and seems to finish calmly. I think if you’ve got pace and a calm finish you always stand a chance. That and I guess the age - he’s playing up several years.

I’d like to see him thrown in the set up next year if his U21 performances continue. Will get laughed at for that but I think sometimes throwing caution to the wind, giving someone a go and hoping they grab the opportunity isn’t the worst idea in the world and I assume he’s a free squad place being U21 and he grown.

His usual position is obviously Leftback then. :D
