Hi there Ut the Claretserers!
I'm in need of a new laptop / PC / tower unit for a spot of video editing. At the same time I'm looking for cheap or free options for video editing softwarre.
What kind of computer option should I be looking for and what kind of specifications would I need?
It's for a commercial product and it entails creating a series of short adverts / videos of around 30 seconds each. They're going to be very tightly edited so I think I need software and hardware that can hold a very large cache of memory as I'll be picking short clips from a large selection of much larger clips in order to condense the footage into 30 seconds.
Any advice and/or help would be much appreciated.
