Looking at games played , points and our last game , are we hoping for an Everton win tomorrow ?

Yes. We have Forest and want to have it in our hands for the last game. Forest losing every game gives us that chance.

S'pose it has to be!
Forest potentially may well not pick up a point after that.
Potentially smentially

Has to be an Everton win with Forest effectively 4 points ahead of us with their far superior goal difference

Overhauling Forest seems like our best chance.
So yes.

Yes, plus Everton still have a game in hand afterwards, albeit against Liverpool.

Everton are the 'weaker' team in my opinion, so therefore should be the target to chase down but that last game against Forest is our big opportunity, so Everton win, anything else is no good really

Everton still have Forest and Sheff Utd at home with Luton away.
We're not catching them.

Yeah Chelsea was bad as they went attacking early on and got opened up.
A bit like Sheff Utd today.
At Everton we never had a shot on target as they kept it tight and dull.

IF, bloody big one I know, Everton beat Forest then let's see eh, a few months ago I was watching our boys through the fingers of both hands over my face with the curtains drawn, the curtains are now open and I'm on the edge of my seat with hope.
That will do me.

To be fair we need Dychey and Everton to do us favours v Forest, Luton and Sheff Utd ... even though I want the Toffees to come unstuck ... Its out of our hands ... we need to take care of our own business 1st

Everton to win.
If we do manage to 'Get of Jail', we've more chance of catching Forest.

Win the rest of our own games and let them sort it out between them, will do me.

Everton win and then both docked 10 points at full time for being cheating b&stards.

Yeah sadly I'll be hoping for an Everton win tomorrow. If we've got even a slight chance of pulling this off, Forest will be the ones to hunt down.

It’s one thing beating Sheff Utd but we have to beat Man Utd and either Newcastle or spurs along with forest to give us a chance of staying up ..

I read today that Everton are likely to only get 1 more point deducted from this last investigation, pretty poor if that’s true.

sadly I can see enough points for both teams in their remaining fixtures. We are going to need to win at Man United to put them under any real pressure I think
Everton fixtures
Forest H
Liverpool H
Brentford H
Luton A
Sheff Utd H
Arsenal A
Forest Fixtures
Everton A
Man City H
Sheff Utd A
Chelsea H
Burnley A

We need to find a performance from somewhere and for just once this season turn over one of the top teams. Then we can deal with Forest
United are beatable if they turn in one of their 'cannot be arsed' displays. We did quite well against them at The Turf but they done us with a Fernandez wonder finish
Do them, and turn in a big home performance vs Newcastle, then The Great Escape might just be possible

I've had us down since October so not really taking an interest in anyone else.
Anything other will be a lovely surprise.

Even a couple of draws in the next 2 keeps it interesting.

If Everton can beat Forest today, then I think we can stay up with 30 points, including beating them. However, they'll probably be given points back from their appeal unless that takes them above Everton. Then will Luton get enough to pip us?

Sheff U will either be down or relegated on the day they play Forest. Either way, they'll play with freedom (if already relegated) or fight like he'll to show some grit even when going down.
I think they could well take a point or all 3 against Forest.
It could well be that we may only need 5 points to catch Forest. If we beat them on the final day, can we find enough to scrape 2 or 3 more points elsewhere to give us an outside chance......???

As others have said. Everton are bloody awful. I can see Forest turning them over.
Burnley FC should have applied for Charity status after gifting this hopeless outfit 6 points.

Pains me to say it, cos I’d love the blue bin dippers to go down, but Everton to win leaving Forest catchable.
Having said that, I’m still of the opinion we are gone anyway.

I think we are capable of getting something at Old Trafford, depending on which Man United show up.
However, I think Newcastle will come and end any hope we may have of stopping up like they did the season before last.

Well they are winning, despite Wood's best endeavours.
If they are to win then win big!
I was basing my drawer on their collapse, last week and hoped all the wheels had come off!

Just got word of this from my son , quite remarkable if true . While he could indeed be getting into Scouse “ culture “ I’m wondering if he may have done it as a bet/charity thing ?
Now , if he’s in a neck brace as well as a tracky next week I will concede he’s gone native .
