Credit given where credit due, solid game from the ref and VAR worked today, but let's not forget the rest of the decisions we've seen this season because of 1 good show.

I give you Tim Krul on Vydra.
Sherwood's words (prick though he is) were interesting "the ref had no choice but to give it" as if giving a penalty to Burnley/against Man Utd was the last option.

I'd have liked to have seen Casermiro and Garnacho both booked for BLATANT dives, but aside from that - thought the ref had a good game.

This really needs to be clamped down on - VAR actively encourages diving. Since the introduction of VAR, dives are no longer punished with a yellow card. This gives players a completely free rein to deceive the referee. We now see numerous dives in the box every game where players hope that during the process of the dive they will make some kind of contact with the defender which, if the referee is fooled into giving the penalty, the VAR will back them up and the penalty will be upheld. It's a no-lose scenario for the divers.
I can understand why we don't want to go down the rabbit hole of VAR interfering with yellow card decisions, however I would absolutely make an exception for players who dive in an attempt to win a penalty.

Really can't see Ten Hag lasting much longer.
They're pitiful.

In fairness to the prick he did say we were the better team and deserved the draw.
