Only 1 from 3 will survive !!!

A few weeks ago we had maybe 1% chance of PL survival. Since the arrival of Muric and Cullen we gave improved dramatically

Newcastle H Spurs A and Forest H will decide which league we are in next season. Will Newcastle beat us next week and effectively relegate us as they did despite Micheal Jackson’s best efforts ?
Will Leeds take our place if we drop ?
So who goes down
Burnley and Luton are the favorites but this is football and anything can happen
Forest play City today and even a point from today’s game would be huge for them. They then have Sheffield Utd away followed by Chelsea home and us away
Luton have the easiest run in. Everton at home next Friday then West Ham away and Fulham at home. All 3 winnable games but Lutons luck seems to have changed and they are on a terrible run of form
We certainly have by far the toughest run in BUT we have momentum
I expect Forest to pick up 4 points and finish on 30
Luton are tough to assess but my guess is they will also pick up 4 points and finish on 29
All of that means we need 7 more points to survive ! Highly unlikely but as I said this is football and anything can happen
Surely we have to beat Newcastle but who knows. Our shocking gd could still cost us relegation at the end !
BUT we still have the insanity of not knowing exactly how many points Forest currently have ? As per Everton they could magically be gifted 2 points back or maybe docked another couple Who knows. My guess is that looking at the current table they will stay as they are.
Let’s hope City can do a number on Forest today otherwise all the above will go out of the window
We have a chance albeit a very small one

Lots of ifs and buts as you say and probably a surprise result or two.

I suspect we'll need to score at least twice to beat Newcastle. They're suspect at the back as shown yesterday but I really fear Gordon running at us and Isak looks really good.

We're capable of getting a draw at spurs.

I personally think Luton will go and all we can hope for is being two points behind Forest going into the last game 🤞

Strangely, I think we will be safe before the Forest match. Newcastle and Spurs look vulnerable to attacking football, and I believe all the bad luck and VAR decisions we have had this season will even out over the next two matches. We will get 6 points and the others 0.

So far so good but City are poor and need a second.

I reckon the bookies odds are correct, gone from a 1% chance of us surviving to about 15%.

Still expect an appeal stitch up, not in our favour.

Forest aren’t a bad side. They certainly have more premier league quality than the bottom three. It’s hard to see them not beating Sheff Utd, but here’s hoping.

Strange things happen at this stage of the season. Let’s hope Sheff U play like they did yesterday for the first half because that will give Forest a game tbh.

Let’s hope they remember that Billy Sharp punch. No love lost there which is good for us.

Grealish dangling his leg out to initiate contact and risks getting injured, eventually it will happen and he will regret it.

Depends if you find a winning machine boring?

I find us a bit like them in certain games. Think what you have to do is understand it for what it is, which is basically defending with the ball, being patient, not expecting every attack to be the one you can score from, then creating a moment or two across the 90 minutes and be clinical.

We’ve been a lot like that but usually made an individual error in and amongst it and not been clinical when our chances when they arrived

2 injuries Murillo and Willams for Forest. That can’t help them

A mistake to leave Murillo on the field whilst the sub was preparing. He looks to be carrying a groin injury which makes changing direction v difficult, and Haaland literally turned him inside out.

Watched them win 4-0 at Brighton on Thursday and was bored to tears. It came on the night after I watched Everton v Liverpool.

We should have beaten wolves and Brighton, Brighton have been dire ever since the manager rumours started weeks ago. Since then their form has been relegation level.

Logic suggests we have left it too late, but you never know.

In this game, City have been dreadful, so I’ve been touching Wood (well his photo anyway :D ) that Forest missed their chances.

Yes, yes, we can all see what could happen with Woody in the final game once hope appears to have been rekindled.

But they still won 0-2.

That's why they'll win it.

I generally don't bother watching them on TV anymore, unless they're playing someone like Liverpool or Arsenal who might give them a game. Find them incredibly tedious to watch. Part of that is probably because they hardly ever slip up against the weaker sides.
