RIP Rebel Rouser Duane Eddy ... The "King of Twang"

Inspired a lot of young guitarists in the late 50's and 60's

RIP Duane Eddy. The Twangs the Thang.

Died of cancer at 86. Good innings for a rock and roller.

My brother in law and a couple of pals used to go and see him, when he came to the UK. Regular throughout the years.

I discovered the baritone guitar through the work of Mr Eddy.

RIP Duane, hugely influential player.

Saw him just the once - at the Cabaret Club, Rose Grove in about 1970.
