Luton v Everton

Will Everton be on the beach or will Dyche ensure they give 100%. Wonder if SD wants us to survive or take the drop. Let’s not forget he was surprisingly fired by our current Chairman after years of excellent service. Wonder how Sean felt about that and what his instructions to his team will be tonight. An Everton loss will virtually seal our fate
What goes around comes around ?

I reckon Dyche doesn't give much of a flying one whether we go down, stay up or move sideways.

And to be fair why would he. I do think though he’ll not allow any of his players not to give 100%, he’ll be looking to win it and I hope they do.

I would suggest that any manager at a club like Everton will want to try and win every game.

Everton will play. They contain 3 Clarets in their squad. All 3 will want to succeed.
Mr D? He put heart and soul into the club. He would not want to see his legacy fade away.

Come on Toffees.

In his press conference in the week he described us as “a previous club”. Didn’t even name us   Like you, don’t think he cares either way now but do think he wants Everton to finish strongly.

Isn't Sean Dyche a Forest fan?

Everton need money, each place up the league at the end of the season is circa £3.1m in merit payments I will imagine that he will be encouraged try and grab a place or two - there is an outside chance of that for them, particularly if their appeal is successful

More contact than Ramsey’s at Villa.

Would still be fuming if it were given against us, which underlines how terrible the Villa decision was.

Why cheap, you get penalties for minimal contact with the foot/leg yet rugby tackles and wrestling seem to go unpunished in the main, and they shouldn't, they're preventing goal scoring opportunities.

It probably is, technically, a foul, but the defender didn't throw him to the ground, yet Branthwaites legs were a good foot off the ground at one point, and it was nowhere near the ball.

The defender was stupid, but the attacker dived. There is no punishment for diving, so you might as well do it.

Frankly, I've always felt penalties are a harsh punishment for fouls that don't deny clear goal scoring opportunities. There's no doubt that you shouldn't be allowed to hold someone that way, but it being in the box was incidental to the play.

Luton 1-1 Everton

Everton try to play it out from the back. Classic... Sean Dyche?
