Yep.
Looked on the Derby site, Ash.
Doesn't look like it's being shown. A shame that.

Derby took a 2 nil lead in first half added time, we scored 2 minutes later 2-1 at HT, according to the club's twitter account

I believe the trialist was called Mottoh - the only player I can come up with is Koby Mottoh at Portsmouth

Literally just seen that - Pompey manager has said that their promotion has prevented him from staying at the club. Only 17 and recently been involved with the first team squad although his only first team appearances have come in the FL Trophy and the League Cup.

Excellent result.

Pleased for the players but also for Andy Farrell - one of life’s good guys!

What's the logic there? Not good enough for the higher level?

Brilliant for the U21 lads. On the subject of trialists, as both sides fielded them - you'd think it wouldn't be allowed in a cup final and they would have had to have played a minimum number of games?

I rather suspect it’s a matter of available finances as the Manager will want a higher budget to strengthen the first team and cover the increased wages cost of new recruits.
There’ll probably be a larger budget for the first team but the knock on effect will be a reduction in the budget for the Academy. That’s usually what happens in these circumstances

We also have a 17 year old lad called Emil Mursalov on trial. He plays for Reading City in the Combined Counties League.
