Second leg tonight with a 2.0 advantage to Donny. After 15 mins it’s 2.0 to Crewe so we’re now at 2-2. Noticed Chris Long for Crewe, was it under Stan we had him on loan?

Just realised Tom Anderson was still at Doncaster. Googled him and was amazed he’s now in his 30s. I thought he was mid 20s.
Shows how long he stuck around at Burnley, completing various loans. He was with us until his mid 20s, but never played a game for us.

Chris Long was brought in by Frank McParland if memory serves.
Edit- didn’t understand the whole Frank McParland tenure, wasn’t he here and gone in a matter of months?

We signed him under Dyche.

Didn’t he go upto Rangers? Think he was a part of bringing Barton and Andre Gray in.

He’s 29 Chris Long

doubt there’s anyone from the Stan era still playing.

Goodness me I would never have thought it was Dyche.

Finished the 90 mins on 0-2. Odd that the tie has had two 0-2 away wins and ended even. Extra time and maybe pens now.
You'd think Crawley would get through the other semi with a 3-0 advantage.

Not great quality but the tension is massive. Far more riding on the outcome of this game than any other type of knockout tie. Jobs, mortgages, futures very dependent on the outcome.

Gutted for Tom Anderson. My wife taught him at secondary school.

Tqo ex-Clarets in final for Crewe with Chris Long and Ryan Cooney who came on as sub and scored a penalty.

Gutted for my neighbour, he's a Doncaster born lad and went over with his Dad and 13 year old son yesterday. I know he'd have loved for the 3 of them to go to Wembley, I think we can all relate to that ...
After 28 games on 3rd February, they were 22nd in the League, but then finished 5th !!
Their record for the last 18 games was W: 13 D:4 L:1 F: 41 A:16 ...

Crewe have been decimated by injuries and have been on a terrible run as well. Unbelievable result for them.
