I have definitely 1 ticket available (Longside Lower) and possibly another 2 (Longside Upper). These are on QR codes, so can email them.

Not going to be great listening to Forest fans having a staying up party whilst we’re welcoming Tresor permanently after spunking £15m on him on the same day.

Too many times the team have not shown up this season, so I can see quite a lot of fans doing the same.

TBH it will be hard to clap this current lot off and the end of the game, including the management and coaching team.
If most of them had actually made the effort and looked like they cared this season I may have made the effort to clap them off.
They can slope off back to Cheshire post match and I will slope off the Turf and will try and forget about this shower for a couple of months.
I’m not tarring them all with the same brush though. Three or four players actually did try and put a shift in week in week out, including two who were brought back into the team way too late.

Not cared or tried. Behave.

They’ve not been good enough in a lot of games but that often happens when you step up a level in sport. Mistakes have been made that haven’t helped either and I’m sure those questions have and will be asked in the very near future.

What utter nonsense.
Just stay away if you can't appreciate what they've tried to do .

I can see your point but I'm assuming your 'two who were brought back into the team' includes Muric. Regular mistakes from him over the last few games with yesterday's being probably the highest number. Not looking to begin another fresh 'old ' argument but the number of lapses by him recently makes him a liability.

Really has turned into the worst possible fixture to have knowing we’re relegated, 95 minutes of gloating from a club with that owner. Yuk.

Ah yes, we'd rather not watch our side's last game of the season because of a bit of pisstaking from opposition fans.
Who cares what those cheating tossers have to say?

I’ve not been too appreciative of their efforts this season no. Apart from a few exceptions. Chelsea away being a good example.
I won’t be staying away either. I’m a loyal supporter, albeit a bit critical. (Constructive in my view).

I can’t disagree with you about the liability tag. He gave the ball away sloppily at least four times yesterday. However he does get us on the offensive fairly quickly when his distribution is accurate.

I agree, just pointing out I’ve always hated playing teams that were going up while we were sinking. I went on the Orient game with virtually no hope we would survive… having witnessed THAT night at Crewe on the Tuesday night, before. But, the Forest fans are one thing, knowing their chairman will be there, being smug ant our expense adds another level of dislike to Saturday’s game.

Edited For clarity.

Some people seem to be forgetting that if we beat Forest by double figures we could relegate them. All to play for.

Think Cork, Jay Rod, and Charlie Taylor deserve a decent send off after their efforts for us. Be a shame if there's hardly anybody left at the end of the game.

Gonna be tough to applaud this pile of garage off the pitch it’s gotta be said , but as a loyal fan I will doing that as we’ve done loyal servants . I’ve never seen a more disconnected team in 40 yrs. Also the worst I’ve seen ( pro rata) in any season in that time with the possible exception of the 84/85 team .
While they’re not quitters, they’ve never really pulled up trees for BFC, and VK must shoulder most of the blame .
Roll on next season .

I really hope when this team are winning next season you realise that the players you’re calling a ‘pile of garbage’ are actually very good players and did not deserve this type of criticism for being good young players, giving their best for a small town team in the big league against teams who often have 5x our revenue.

Yesterday for example, we gave Spurs a decent game throughout away from home. Took the dead and were good for a draw until the 82nd minute. A club with £550m revenue vs our £120m-odd.

If you were running a business for example and struggled to compete with competitors 5x richer than you, would you think you were a ‘pile of garbage’ or be a bit more realistic about your prospects of competing with richer, more established businesses?

I’ll be clapping them off and it won’t be difficult or a chore for me.

Not how I feel at all.

I’ll be there clapping them off and I hope the majority of other clarets do the same.

If the away end reaction was anything to go by yesterday, I hope that will be the case and the fans get right behind the players and manager for the final game.

Its called being a Burnley Fan ... True fans go to matches because they follow the team ...

We have been relegated (for quite a while now) but still the fans go to watch home and away ...

I will be there to follow my team regardless ... its what FANS do

il attend the games I fancy attending.

I’m completely disconnected from the club from top to bottom at the moment so not particularly fussed about going.

Like I said fair play to you, next week is my idea of torture personally.

Unfortunately I won’t be there, but only due to a family commitment.

There’s not much to applaud this season, but as has been mentioned further up the thread, there are a few great servants who will be leaving the club - they deserve a show of appreciation, at the very least.

When you trot out the lazy but trendy"I am disconnected from the club" claim what was different when you attended the odd game in previous times. How did your matchday experience differ, what did the club do different for you once you arrived ?

you're right.

They might as well say "i only support them when they are doing well"

attending the turf and watching a match, supporting your club - this hasn't changed at all, if anything its improved in the last couple of years.

Right now it’s quite simple,

We have gone through that many players in the last 18 months and that much change I just don’t care anymore.

I don’t have a connection to any of the players, the manager just isn’t Burnley in my opinion (Dyche got the club and mentality around our community).

I used to love having a favourite player and that siege mentality (difficult to describe you used to feel like everyone was pulling together).

You can disagree and call it a lazy opinion but I think the monumental change we have seen has effected that closeness between the fans the club.

I’m also of the view that the increased costs are a factor. I have the utmost respect for fans that travel to the turf (decent drives or even fly) because with the current economic climate it costs an arm and a leg.

Yet you attended so many games last season you claimed, with the same manager in charge ? You also have claimed you have a highly profitable crypto accounts so is the cost really an issue ?

How did you feel connected last season it was basically a new squad full of players you had never heard of yet you said you attended quite a lot, who was your favourite player last season ?

I felt disconnected last season, just not to the extent I am now. Not sure I have ever really got behind VK properly, certainly never been a fan of this style of football even last season (mentioned that pretty early on in the season).

Didn’t really have a favourite player, I would probably say at a push Benson. But here we are 9 months later after barely having seen him play and likely to never see him play again for us.

I think that connection can come back quite quick but it’s got to start by building a core of players that stay at club and we build around them for the next 3-4 seasons. As people have alluded to on other threads I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if we had a completely new eleven come August.
