Away travel

Post by Jimmymaccer » Sun May 12, 2024 4:09 pm

As the last successful trip away(!) has now been completed, just thought I’d give a shout out to those who tirelessly arrange travel to /from away matches ensuring we all get there and back (eventually, on the very odd occasion!!!) safely, with stops on the way. So win lose, or draw we always have an enjoyable trip, free from the hassle of making our own way there.

It appears the Club itself doesn’t appreciate the work the supporters groups put in, but as a supporter who does, just a big thanks from me and my son, and we’ll be back next season!!!

UTC!!!

Haven't used Supporters groups travel for a few years (used to travel with BFSC ) ... But not enough praise is given to those who work tirelssly behind the scenes, organising the coaches, dealing with no shows etc etc.

👏 fantastic job 👏

They do a great job all the supporters groups.

But what makes you think the club don't appreciate them? I thought the club was happy that it saved them a job?

Following the money which was collected/raised on the Accy Clarets to Spurs coaches, together with money raised from previous games, we have just made our final donation for this season of £350 to East Lancs Hospice. Thanks to everyone who has travelled with us this season and helped with raising this money.

Thank you to yourself Pete & all those who run the coaches for you for all your help again this season. We always have a great time whatever the result. Roll on August

This is our 3rd donation this season, with previous donations totalling £750 having been made to the The Barry Kilby Prostate Charity and Pendleside Hospice.
