Disgusted with Houses performance today. Only one team had the drive to win the game. Unforgiveable. No application.

Burnley would have been looking at 250+ if Bedford wouldn’t have been given LBW. Looked a bad call.

Phew. Not that any further proof were needed but there truly is only 1 team in Burnley

Fair score by Burnley. The square at Lowerhouse was as green as I've seen on Friday night for the 20/20.
Played alright like, but you would certainly rather bowl on there.

We need some Power House fans to tell us how they they have the biggest following in Amateur League cricket. FACT. Burnley are only any good because of BFC etc. 83 runs seems a large margin to me but we take no pleasure as we will have to stave of the Blackburn rivals on our own representing Burnley in the cricket circles. One Town One team.

Men vs boys today I'm afraid.
Never looked remotely like overhauling that total.
Pretty sloppy all round I'm afraid.

I really miss cricket, spend many an afternoon watching, having a couple pints in the Hunte, Hall, Griffiths, Gibbs et al era. Particularly enjoyed the Worsley Cup games.
Fond memories

Hope the House play as poorly on Friday when they come to Rishton for the 20/20!

Accy Clarets are sponsoring the game.

Conrad Hunte passed away almost a quarter of a century ago. The other three are still alive, Lance Gibbs is 89 and Charlie Griffith is 85. Don’t know about Gibbs but told Griffith is in good health. Wes Hall isn’t in good health though; he’s 86.
Four great West Indian cricketers. I never saw Hall in the Lancs league but did the other three.

Shame there were no Burnley fans down at lowerhouse again to witness their win. Does anyone actually go? Or just claim to be a fan?

Leeds Utd mentality. Most fans so that’s all that matters

Not at all, but to say there were about 3 blokes for a game a couple of miles across town is embarrassing

There were. Quite a few I know were there although they weren't vocal until it was obvious which way the game was going. If you've ever been to Turf Moor to watch a game you wouldn't be surprised. Like one man and his dog there..but fairs fair they have a functioning team at the moment and it really was like men vs boys today. First time they've beat us for a while too i think.

Does it actually matter the volume of support? Burnley has good support but just because we don't turn up as a gang at Liverpool Road doesn't mean there is no fan base. Power House poke the position and the Town team supporters react. Are Power House in that Lancashire Cup thing? No it is for the elite!!!

So where are the good support? If they are not at the home games, and not at the away games. Where do they go?

I once watched Michael Bevan play a brilliant innings for Rawtenstall at Lowerhosue. Ady Randall was sat with his mate on the next bench and drank about 12 pints that afternoon.

Remind me of who has had at least one hand on the thing then? Clue: It's not the "town team"

Bad example you make there methinks
Where is this good support? I've been down to Turf Moor with Lowerhouse most of the last 10 or so seasons and on nearly every occasion House supporters have outnumbered Burnley. Attendances throughout the Lancashire League are generally poor but having been to a lot of the away games all over the league in the last few years the attendance at Burnley is stark when you consider the team they have. That's not to denigrate those that do go..as I know a few but if you are claiming they have good support it's not really based on fact from my experience. If you are going to make these claims have something to back it up.
Of course volume of support doesn't matter because as like Leeds Utd..it is what is on the pitch that counts. It does matter when it comes to the future but Burnley CC could survive with nobody going to watch as long as its used as a car park in the winter.
Car Park Cricket Club I've heard used a few times recently
What is remarkable is the amount of CPCC fans that turn up on here that claim to go. Whoppers.

Did Burnley win in the LCB Cup today?
Padiham had a good win against Southport and Birkdale. Ormskirk away in the next round could be a tough one though.
