What absolute scumbags the lot of them are, self entitled little brats, and to then have the audacity to appear on Netflix and brag about it, their parents must be so proud.

I blame Netflix for giving them the airtime.

In this day and age, the parents probably ARE proud…. These will be third generation arseholes.

I was talking to a teacher the other day. He said some of the parents are worse than the kids. He also said a whole lot more. I wouldn't do their job for love nor money.

Had several people suggest I should go into teaching and I’m considering remote tutoring… but secondary school not a chance seen far too many friends reduced to nervous wrecks… good people who really wanted to share their passions now on a cocktail of anti-depressants and nerve drugs… of the five I know and see often, two are signed off sick for over a year, one drinks himself to oblivion every night and the other one is desperately trying to kick start a writing career to get out of it.

I was even warned by my MA head of department when I mentioned it that even at degree level they are starting to notice a decline in respect as kids are forced into University because many of the better off parents are not willing to admit their little angels were part of the problem during their schooldays, and they know they can carry on at least a year before being chucked out.

I can empathise with everything you wrote. The person I spoke to said discipline had got much worse over the last three or four years. I won't name the school, however, they told me that not a day goes by without a serious incident. And when they do ask a parent or guardian to come into school to discuss the matter, half of them either don't want to know or see it as an opportunity to kick-off with those who are trying to educate their kids. Some of them come to the meetings drunk and off their heads on drugs.

There's not much schools can do when they are up against third-gen feckless parenting. We all pay in the end, and it costs society billions, not to mention the wasted opportunities. What's the answer?

i'm all in favour of peoples right to protest, but we have a generation of youth that just move from one trendy thing to the next because they think its a right to cause trouble

The delinquents causing antisocial behaviour, crime and massive problems in many of our schools wouldn't know what Hamas is or what LGBT+QR are. It's lack of parenting passed down through two or three generations, not people protesting, rightfully or wrongfully, against what's happening in Gaza or those who think a biological man can become a woman. These dysfunctional families know nothing about politics or the latest cause, and many of them would struggle to name the Prime Minister.

I posted about this a few weeks ago. How no-one was killed is a miracle... Still the lad is proud of with his picture stood on top of a bus - just like his scumbag dad. Happy endings and that.
