I heard a Christian fundamentalist group wanted this banned. They were trying to religify the event by insisting the organisers use baby cheeses.

The members of Depeche Mode weren't happy with the type of cheese that the organisers were using. They wanted to use their own, personal, cheeses.

Been to the Wensleydale cheese factory ar Hawes today..Plenty of cheese rolling down my throat.

I did that Cooper's Hill run many (46) years ago and still have the dicky-knee to remember it by. Not as painful as the Ashbourne football was mind
