Sympathy.

I've left it a while to see what the various news outlets had to say, has anybody seen any sympathy towards us?
BBC and the rest focus nearly everything towards company, still not sure on the yanks but for me they backed kompany very well ,not their fault he was like a kid in a sweetshop buying a lot where 3 or 4 big money signings in my view would have been better.
At least the bluemoon forum who obviously idolise kompany can not understand how he got the big job after the mess he made for us last season, but towards us its just the usual garbage towards the town of burnley and the team.
One thing they do say often also is he is going to a far better stock of players conveniently forgetting that he bought most of our team!

Do media outlets offer sympathy to any other clubs who lose their managers?
Why would they offer any to us? We've lost a manager, not gone bust.

Perry Groves, on Talksport yesterday, thinks we've been shafted by VK, if that makes you feel any better.

Most pundits I have heard or read are incredulous that he got the job.

They might’ve done, but no one called for him to go at the actual games.
He probably got off very lightly, all things considered.

It's my opinion that he could never really be a "fit" at BFC.
Cast your minds back to our early form last season, and comments made then.

Well they did, kinda, leaving on 60 minutes and the ground being half empty at full time gave a firm if subtle message.

We haven't been shafted. Kompany was offered one of the biggest jobs in European football and righly accepted.
Burnley or Bayern? Hmmmm let me think....

Agree with that but he was going to leave regardless, if another job turned up.
You only have to listen to his interviews and the noise coming out about him to draw that conclusion.

Sympathy? Do you mean condesending media types saying poor old burney?
Bugger em, its our job now to do what Bayern did to a club without our pulling power.
Its called capitalism.
