Following on from the BPF thread, how many double barrelled names have we had playing for the Clarets?

From the current squad:

BPF
Amin Al Dakhil
Jacob Bruun Larsen

Previously I can think of:

Eric Djemba Djemba
Colin Carr Lawton

Sure there must be plenty of others, though i am told Bloody Hell Winstanley would not be allowed

For short... I'm assuming that you must've been a close friend? Plebs like myself had to use the full Richard Plantaganet Campbell Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville, 3rd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos moniker

Only his mother called him by his full name when he was naughty.

Imagine teaching a school class of that lot. You'd have time to call the register and then it's the next lesson.

Or giving him a yellow card. You'd have to add ten minutes to the game just for that. Or not bother.

Not convinced these are genuine double barrelled names, aren't they just following the conventional name systems of their culture?

JBG, JBL, AAD, DDF, JLV, ARH - not double barrelled.

I have doubts about Eric Djemba-Djemba also being double barrelled, but my knowledge of Cameroonian naming culture is sadly lacking. It is hyphenated, but I doubt it came about because Mr Djemba and Miss Djemba couldn't agree on a married name.
