I’ve always thought Padiham was the one to track given they are closer to Burnley than anyone else in the Extra Preliminary draw.
That would be
Padiham v Golcar United and then the winners at home to Thackley or Frickley Athletic.

Sad to think that theres so many teams wanting to enter now that they cant fit them all in. I think the lower end of the North West Counties doesnt qualify to get in these days. The big boys devalue it while those teams would give anything to be in it!

Padiham v Golcar United today - currently 0-0 early in the second half.
Whoever wins will be a home game against Thackley or Frickley Athletic for our next round with Thackley currently leading 1-0.

Final scores
Padiham 1 Golcar United 1
Thackley 2 Frickley Athletic 0
So for the next round, it's Padiham or Golcar United v Thackley

Just clocked that Georgie Boyd scored for Wythenshawe Town vs Chadderton in their 7 - 1 win today. also he lasted the full 90 minutes, he’s like the Duracell Bunny, 39 in October.

I was at Colne for their game with Mossley yesterday, supporting/ watching one of Mossley’s former Colne players. First time I’ve been back since he left. It’s a shame how much Colne have dropped off since he left. A few years back they had a side enjoyable to watch and with some decent talent.

Tbf Colne were decent last season. Beat Bamber Bridge in the final to win the Lancashire cup. Lost half a team to Nelson obviously because they're paying more.

Mental at that level. Not sure who's putting the money in down at Nelson now, they definetely won't get many watching.

First couple of attendances have been around the 190 mark which is quite impressive at that level. They have also done a lot of work on the ground there so may be repaing the rewards from that. That said they'll need to. Its somewhere in the 10s of thousands thats been spent down there in the summer

So, even should Barlick lose in the next round they will make close around £5850, which is likely enough to pay all their debts and/or make improvements to the ground or squad

Keep an eye on Wythenshawe Town who are in the hat tomorrow for the Round 3 Qualifying draw as they have one Georgie Boyd amongst their number. They squeaked through yesterday vs Newcastle Benfield 1 - 0. N B played with 10 men for an hour.
He’s knocked in three goals already in the competition and turns 39 at the beginning of next month. He played the full 90 minutes yesterday at Benfield’s bizarre ground which doubles up as a sports gym.
They will do well to make it to the first round proper as they will probably have to knock out sides 1/3 steps above them in the next two rounds.

Two clubs in Wythenshawe aren't there? Recall both were competing with AFC Bury for promotion last season.
I'm intrigued by your description of Benfield's ground. Think I need to find a photograph if possible.

Warrington Rylands currently leading Newton Aycliffe 3-1 with about 10 minutes to go in their tie.
The winner will play Scarborough or Dunston in the 3rd qualifying round. More than likely will be Scarborough with them leading their replay 4-1 currently.
