We're like a revolving door at the moment.
Hopefully soon to settle down.

& some people still try to insist he didn’t leave before to try to link up with kompany. The guys been looking for any other opportunity from the moment the big R surfaced next to our name in the league table. I can’t imagine pace will be too bothered that’s another big earner on big bucks off the payroll.

Fractured dressing room already?
Good luck to CB, hope he does well for them. He's a passionate bloke and I am sure will give his all

Wonder what would have happened if he'd been offered the managers job here as well.
Luckily we saw sense. This isn't a big loss.

Came over well in all his interviews last season , appears to have grown up!
Wish him well with Wales, their squad is worse than ours.

He didn't leave of his own accord and he very definitely wasn't trying to link up with Kompany

I wish him well but I must confess I wasn't a particularly big fan of Parker having an 'assigned' team. They may not have gelled (having played together is one thing, but Bellamy applied for the same job Parker got ahead of him, that can, sometimes, lead to a degree of undermining even if not wholly intended - the odd bitchy comment to others, etc) or been on the same page tactically and so on.
I think this might be for the best...

Do you have any contact with the real world or are you just permanently off with the fairies?

As much as Bellamy staying would have been great, Jackson still here, gives Jensen more chance to show his credentials.
If it also means Parker can bring another one of his own staff in then so be it

Every now and again we see a manager so ruthless they bin off players who have previously succeeded for them, but it is very rare to see one who does that but also does it with his main coaching staff.
VK did it all within 2 years despite initially huge success. I can’t recall a precedent.
So I feel for what Bellamy must have been going through, and wish him luck in his new role. Let’s be honest, he’ll need it, you cannot polish a turd and Wales are long past their golden generation.

Gareth Bale and, to an extent, Aaron Ramsey.

I can’t imagine it will be a significant amount given where he’s gone. They won’t have much money.

I don't think the perfect timing of all this is a coincidence. Goes some way, perhaps,
to explaining the seemingly lengthy process we endured.

You are entitled to your opinion, but my god this is a strange take. As with pretty much everyone on here including you I have no idea what really went on in the background at the end of the season. That said there is enough noise in the press and with people that do get bits of information out of persons close to the Club to suggest Kompany and Bellamy weren’t on good terms at the end. Either way though it is irrelevant and him taking the Wales job does not in any way prove anything other than he is a proud welshman.

It would've ben awkward if he'd stayed at Burnley, as presumably he'd have been working alongside Jensen, who was probably brought in by VK to replace him.

The perfect role for him and will allow him the required work/life balance that he wouldn’t get running a league club.
The commitment required to be the manager of our club in relation to time and energy needed was always my concern and suspect that it was the thing that stopped the board offering him the job.

Nobody truly knows what their relationship was like apart from VK ans CB. Its all information received from other people which cannot be substantiated.

Very classy comments from Bellamy on getting the Welsh job, praising the club and thanking the fans. A noticeable difference to a previous departure a few weeks ago. Thanks Craig and good luck.

I thought VK and Bellamy were really good mates and VK was helping Bellamy through his troubles, part of that was keeping him employed both previously and at Burnley. Anyone know what went so wrong that they’ve become almost estranged.

The management team responsible for one of the worst seasons in our history have moved on upwards after, crazy.
Kompany - Beyern Munich
Bellamy - Wales National Team
Rouwelaar - Man United

Do we know how many of the approx. 20 fitness coaches/technical coaches/rehab. coaches/analysts/performance managers etc. are staying with BFC in the new season?

Really pleased for him. He clearly wants a managerial job and whilst I wouldn’t have liked us to appoint him, the Wales job seems like a good fit. I think he leaves here having made a good impression overall.
So I suppose that leaves Parker looking for a couple of people to add to his staff then - another assistant coach and a goalkeeping coach.

Just thinking about our last three managers and where they are now. FC Hollywoid , Everton and Newcastle. Wonder if the new manager has thought about this
Good luck to Bellamy, I wish him well.

It's questionable itself that their relationship is estranged there's no evidence to support that view in the same way that they are best chums. At this moment in time apart from the 2 men & maybe a handful of other close confidants nobody really knows.

Apart from Kompany leaving him behind and Bellamys replacement being signed before he'd even left. It doesn't suggest a rosey relationship does it

If it was true that he had left the Club, I would imagine quite a lot of the Club employees were are aware of the reason it is hard to hide a rift like that. Either way it doesn’t really matter though as both have left now.

It depends on what level of employee I'd expect an high level director to know but I'd be looking for the nearest salt mine having faith in what the cleaner said. It was a engineered exit which backfired.
