They've gone for the monochrome badge as well. Do clubs genuinely prefer them over the colour badges, or do they just think that they can be trendy by doing what everyone else is doing?

I actually like that, I do love a pink football shirt, perhaps we need to do a version of our 1894/95 season for a 3rd strip some time🩷

They're spitting feathers over on brfcs forum over the lack of signings and their "tiny" budget.
My R*vers supporting mates are convinced they're going down. Szmodics leaving would put the cap on it for many of them, though it would give them money to spend.

Would it? I’m not too sure about that. They’re losing £15m a year…

They are, but it doesn't seem to bother the Venkys.
If he gets sold, I reckon they'll spend at least some of it on players.

Is it getting to that time of year where Venky's issue X number of shares then buy them themselves to prop up the ever increasing debt.
Usually around £10-15m? 🤔

If the court decision goes against them it means they can't invest anymore money in foreign countries, or certainly not to the extent they do now.

'We want our roverrrrrs back'

'Get the venkys out of our club'

scream the whinging shadsworth simples.

Well get your hands in your pockets and stump up £200M or thereabouts and the eeeeewood sh-it show is all yours lads.

Any takers ? Didn't think so.

Same old bturds, always relying on someone else's money.

I know there's no love lost between us, but it must be very upsetting for their supporters to watch the club fall into disrepair on and off the pitch. If they were to drop into League One I suspect a winding up order wouldn't be far behind.

Annoyingly they can still sell Szmodics to keep them afloat for another season, after they sold Wharton last season as well.

I think he will be going just a matter of time. When a player throws his rattle out of the pram I think the price drops as the club then just want shut.

I didn't realise he had been missing pre season games, music to my ears :D

I always thought the demands for around £20m were crazy for a player approaching 30 and with only one outstanding season so far.

'Venky’s achieved permission to settle the tax bill which they argued would have caused “a huge loss to the reputation.”'

The sentence isn't very clear but I'm not sure whether Venky's were talking about their own reputation. If so, there's not much left of their reputation if they mean "good reputation".

Or maybe they're talking about the club.

Yeah.
It's also a pity they didn't flog him halfway through last season, because they'd be kicking off in L1 this time.

Still annoys me that on the last day all the improbable results happened to relegate them and they go and win at Leicester to survive

Adult season tickets sales now approaching 3,800 for the coming season...that's pretty dire..the other 5k or so must be all concessions and freebies.

Yet still they howl for the removal of their benefactors.

They might get their wish. If the courts rule against Venky's, they could well be swapping their billionaire poultry industry owners for someone who owns a Mill Hill pie shop.

We'd have to revert back to singing 'will we play' rather than 'til we play' when we sing No Nay Never, and I'm not sure people could handle that.

It's a no from me.
