Hopey has put a stream on if you want to watch it.
The camera angle makes it look like nobody is there watching.

Maybe if he hadn’t been leaping up in the air and punching his bat like he’d hit the winning run in a World Cup Final it might have given the Lowerhouse players the chance to acknowledge his hundred.

Burnley left at least 20 out there but no bowling points for House is a positive. Difficult to know if it is a good batting wicket or not. Bedford made it look easy but nobody else really got in.

Darwen 96 all out. Rochdale 50/6 off 14

I thought it looked like a decent batting track but hard to tell. Bedford was positive in his innings and reaped the rewards. The rest a bit tentative... and Ocky was just as usual...obdurate. Still a useful knock though.
I've never liked House chasing. Always better batting first. They have to forget the target. Bat like they have been as though they are setting a total. Keep calm..no silly shots. Make Burnley earm the wickets not hand them to them. If they do that we will have a tight game.
I make Burnley favourites though..just.

Rochdale now 66/9 so it’s going to be a twelve pointer for Darwen.

Took 5 for 18 v East Lancs to go past 2000 wickets in the Lancashire League & Worsley Cup. Legend.

Not turned up at all and considering how we've been playing it's very frustrating. Not even made a game of it.

Agree. No one has played that rash a shot yet.
Jack and Charlie could gain a lot of experience here. Just bat the overs.

With a Burnley win, Darwen 18 clear. The league is there’s to lose.
Norden beaten by Clitheroe so House still 3rd.

Think Burnley play Darwen last game so just need to keep them within 10 points to have a chance
Excellent performance by Burnley today. Thought Bedford set the tone with the bay and the opening bowlers piled pressure on the visitors who truthfully had no answer
Pity it was so one sided Anyway safe journey home everybody. I expect most of the visiting fans are already there And finally thanks to Hopey if you were the one to set up the link. It was excellent

Only responsible for everything tech, website related and socials at Lowerhouse. Not responsible for their stream. It’s a good set up and looks like they have their Internet fixed.

Indeed. I've already said on here that i think Burnley have the best bowling attack. They grind you down. Bowl very straight and without giving you the overs to get the line either. They won the battle today. It really was all about who won that...and the toss. Batting second against a tight bowling attack and chasing a decent total was always an uphill battle.

Their opener was top class. Timed everything from the start. Gave no chances away. Then that bloody Ocky joined in !
