Preston are going to be bang in trouble this season. Lost their two best players on a free in Alan Browne (Captain) and Liam Millar’s loan ended. Think they lost their last 5-6 games at the end of last season.

Watching Chesterfield’s return to the football league after a long time away - beating Swindon 1-0. They will be in contention for automatics without a doubt.

Whenever I think of Chesterfield I remember when Burnley went there in the 80s during our promotion season . Absolutely loads of Clarets there. Seem to remember the wall in the away end collapsed at the side of the pitch.

Thanks CT. I was in my early teens. I remember the ground being packed full of Burnley Fans. Easter Monday would be right too. Couldn't remember who scored but remember the ground erupting and the wall collapsing and being near the front of the away end.

I'd somehow forgotten but the standard of football in this league is absolutely reprehensible.

Any side that can string 15-20 passes together in the opposition half is in with a shout of being in the mix and it really isn't many that can achieve that.
