It was being discussed on episode 2 of mission to Burnley.What music would you like the players to walk out to this season?
I still think of the Turf when I hear the Arcade Fire track wake up.

If we can avoid American rock music, it’d be an improvement.

AC DC aren't American, but the Dallas Cowboys were first in with Thunderstruck.
It's a great song but doesn't work for me.

Tubthumping is my choice. It’s not “in vogue”. But neither are we and it suites us imo.

Interestingly, the last episode of the documentary had Arcade Fire Wake Up over the end credits. I still like that one as a walk on song personally.

I think it was back in the early 90's, could be wrong though, sure its playing on an old VHS I've got.
Id go back to Van Halen - 'Jump' from the waddle era in 1997

I'd love us to go back to Arcade Fire too.
Although I did enjoy Welcome to the Jungle - one if the greatest intros ever recorded.

Good choice, and adds tension, you can imagine gladiators stepping out into the colosseum to this music.

Was only ever Simply the Best then Jump (and possibly Tubthumpin?) as far as I recall
Tom Hark was always the goal music

I definitely remember Tom Hark as walkout music. Possibly between Simply The Best and Jump.

I'm sure we used to play Tom Hark when the players came back on for the second half, early 90s when i started going on. Simply the Best before the game.

Was this around the time they played Moby at half time? Very vivid memories of those songs on the turf.

I think any of you who have gone for Arcade Fire have either not watched Mission to Burnley 2 or are completely lost at what Pace et al are wanting to do.
They want something to get the crowd going. Wake Up is a dirge that we trudged on to.
You could see during the latter end of the season the changes. ACDC and Guns n Roses were being played. Think along those lines for a guess.

I think Right Here Right Now by Fatboy Slim would make for good walk out music for the bigger games. Latter stages of the cups, derbies, six pointers etc.

For me…we need to turn the ground into a seething, bubbling cauldron of passion and aggression in the build up to kick off and then as fans we need to make it a place that opposition teams don’t like coming to.
The best way to do this (IMO) is to use rock, metal, film soundtracks…LOUDLY! Tracks like:
* Motörhead- The Game
* Airbourne- Back in the Game
* Tim Capello- I Still Believe
* Def Leppard- Animal
* Iron Maiden- Trooper, Blood Brothers or many many others!
* AC/DC- Hell’s Bells, Hail Caesar, Thuderstruck…need I go on?
* Living Colour- Cult of Personality
* Pink Floyd- Run Like Hell
* Alter Bridge- Metallingus
* Eminem- Lose Yourself
* Ghost- Danse Macabre
* Metallica- Ecstasy of Gold (well any version of this tbf!)
* Zack Helmsley- See What I’ve Become
* Hans Zimmer- Molossus
* David Robidoux- We Did It
* John Carpenter- Halloween
Get the idea?

It was used for EVERYTHING!
What is it they play now before the walk out music? It's a track without much music, but adds to the tension. It has talking over it, but the PA system is so bad near us we can't tell what it's saying. I like the track though, whatever it is.
