Hopefully never….. we’ve already got enough of their glory hunting fans, like Bodge, Bosscat, The Wats and jdrobbo.
None of them support their local team….

Flat Cap ?
My Padiham parents moved to Skipton which meant i was born in Keighley and now both my Claret kids were born in Wakefield - we are taking over - but none of us have a flat cap (yet!)

I’m a quarter (maximum) Yaarkshire…and the only good thing they've done that I’ve encountered is the fish and chips at Bizzie Lizzie’s in Skipton (a mention also to the pork pie shop). Apart from that, the best thing (some of my less fortunate) ancestors did is escape over the border to the promised land

I am half Lancastrian, half Yorkshireman. Father was born in Oldham, mother in Skipton. I identify with Lancashire during football season and with Yorkshire during cricket season. Born in Skipton, I wrongly assumed that Burnley was in Yorkshire when I was six years old. Everyone in the school playground was either a Burnley fan or a Tottenham fan, the two clubs being the glamour sides of the era, so I suppose I was a glory hunter. But even if I got the county wrong, I knew that Turf Moor was the nearest ground to home. Just. Valley Parade, home of the perennial strugglers, about a mile further away, was never an option. I don't think I heard about them until I was a teenager.

In the mid 1960s hordes of Yorkies travelled from the Skipton area to Turf Moor on the Pennine Bus football specials. My Dad (a Claret himself) was a driver, so I could sneak on for free. Hence my connection to the Club. You can’t get much more Yorkshire than that! Only trouble was we had to leave ten minutes before the end to bring the bus round to the top of Ormerods Yard to collect the the passengers.
